Dear,
There is no disadvantage of pursuing B.Tech in a particular branch in the 2nd year because from the 2nd year only the particular specialisation study will start and in next 3 years you would obtain, skills, knowledge, internship, project work and mainly you will get the same B.Tech degree as awarded to the student who took admission in the first year.

No, good BBA institutes have their own admission procedure. You can't find any institute that gives direct entry into BBA programme like B.Tech. You have to complete 12th and then seek admission.
