Australia,because Germany is famous for his automobile infrastructure there is world class jobs in automobile sector,on the other side Australia gives more CS and architect based jobs the companies like CISCO and Cap Gemini having the major recruitment from Australia.

One year gap is acceptable by most universities as long as you are able to provide solid reason behind the break. You first need an offer letter from any university in Ottawa confirming you as an enrolled student, only then will you get visa. So don't worry about the visa right now, focus on getting admission abroad first.

No, you cannot pursue an M.Tech degree directly after B.Sc. You should get a M.Sc degree first before applying for M.Tech.

You may check DePaul University, University of Pennsylvania, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Carnegie Mellon University and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU) which are some of the best in this field.
