As per BHU cutoff 2024 for the last-round seat allotment, the minimum rank stood at 1098 for the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course for the General AI category candidates. Similarly, for the OBC category, the minimum rank stood at 1585 for the MBBS course.

BHU offers a five-year MBBS course through the Institute of Medical Sciences. Admission to the medical course is based on merit in the NEET-UG exam followed by the counselling round conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). During form filling, students need to submit their NEET-UG score along with the All India Rank and other details. Candidates can visit the BHU website (bhu.ac.in) to apply for the course. Moreover, eligible students must register on the MCC portal for counselling.

BHU tuition fee costs around INR 1200 - INR 10 L. The fee is exclusive of other components including Application Fee, Examination Fee, Security Deposit, Hostel Fee, etc. The fee is taken from the official website. It is subject to change. Candidates should check the website before applying.

Banaras Hindu University course admissions is entrance-based for most of the programmes. Thus, one-year dropper student can apply for the desired course, however, qualifying the respective entrance is the a must. Apart from this, aspirant should meet the course-specific minimum eligibility requirements as well.

BHU accepts CUET-UG scores for admission to several UG courses. Candidates seeking admission to BHU must apply online to register themselves. Follow the step-wise admission process as given below: 

1. The BHU application process is conducted in online mode through the official website of NTA (nta.ac.in). The fee for General category students is INR 750, INR 700 for OBC-NCL/EWS, and INR 650 for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender.
2. Candidates need to download the admit card by visiting the official website of CUET 2025 and clicking on 'Download CUET Admit Card'.
3. After the declaration of the CUET result, students seeking admission to BHU UG courses are required to apply online for CUET-UG Counselling on the BHU UG admission portal.
4. Further, candidates are required to participate in an online counselling process for provisional admission to the course (s). After that, the final seat allotment will be done by BHU.

BHU CUET cutoff 2025 was published for admission to various UG-level courses in the form of scores. For the General AI category, the last round cutoff varied from 34.58 to 628.46. Hence, students should attain a score that is above 34.58 to be able to secure a seat at BHU. 

Note: This is the cutoff for the General AI category; other categories will have different cutoffs accordingly. 

BHU NEET cutoff 2025 was published for admission to various AI categories for courses, like MBBS, BDS, and BSc in Nursing. Whether a 470 is a good NEET score would depend entirely on the category you belong to. 

For the General AI category, the overall cutoff varied between 1165 and 82615. Hence, students who belong to this category who have a 470 rank might have an easier chance at admission.

BHU offers entrance-based admissions to all its UG and PG courses. To get admission to any UG and PG courses, it is compulsory to appear for the CUET-UG/ CUET-PG entrance exams. Further, the university also accepts other entrance exam such as NEET, GATE, CAT, etc. for admission to specific courses. Hence, candidates are required to appear for the accepted entrance-exam and also meet the course-specific eligibility for admission at BHU.

BHU offers a two-year full-time MSc course via its IIT BHU college. The institute accepts the IIT JAM entrance exam scores, followed by its counselling rounds for admission. During the last round, the IIT BHU JAM cutoff 2025 varied between 325 and 409 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. BHU CUET PG cutoff 2025 was released for various postgraduate courses. As per the last round, the cutoff scores ranged between 20 and 650 for the General AI category students. BHU 2026 BSc Nursing admission is based on CUET UG scores. The BHU merit list for CUET UG will be released on the official website of BHU. According to the BHU, there will be three rounds of counselling along with an optional fourth round, if the seats remain vacant. Talking about the BHU maximum cutoff score of the previous year, B.Sc. (Hons) in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology became the most competitive course with a cutoff score of 628.46 for the students belonging to the General quota. 

BHU accepts NEET UG scores for admisison to the MBBS, BDS and BSc in Nursing courses. As per the NEET UG Round 2 cutoff 2024, the closing rank for the MBBS course was 1014 for the students belonging to the General AI category students. For the BDS and BSc in Nursing courses, the NEET UG closing ranks were 26356 and 46830. So considering the Round 1 cutoff, students seeking admission to BHU via NEET UG must aim to secure over and over the ranks mentioned here.
