Placements: NIFT is a pioneer in style training in India. Undergraduate designing and fashion communication are the best courses here, which doesn't mean the master courses are less. MFM (Masters in Fashion Management) is a knowledgeable and ideal course for the individuals who need to work in style retail, showcasing and PR. Placements totally depend on students capabilities.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fairly lavish from the benchmarks of an administration foundation. You will be truly stunned by the etiquette and tidiness kept up in the grounds. Aside from that, we truly know how to party, be it any event, any social affair it can never go squandered.

Faculty: NIFT Mumbai is not only a spot. I become familiar with my subjects. It's like a smaller than usual world put on solitary grounds with best-class faculty. Come enjoy the college life with best faculty members, facilities and go with the best placements.

Placements: NIFT graduates are demanded mostly in the industry. Every year, many companies and brands like Max, Arvind Mills, Globes, etc., come to the campus at the end of the year and take deserving students with them. Last year, 88% of the students got jobs before graduation from the college. The highest package offered was 28 LPA and not only placements, but some companies offer internships also, and the student completes his/her course, they offer them jobs if deserving. From last many years, NIFTians are interning in lake fashion week.

Infrastructure: The college has a total of 4 buildings for academic and 2 buildings for hostels with free Wi-Fi. In labs, we have most advanced machines and software for the students. The classrooms in the college are fully air-conditioned. There are normal classrooms and smart classrooms also. NIFT Mumbai has the best library as resource centre having thousands of manual books as well hai lakhs of online books as well as i-pods and kindle to read those books. The college provides 24/7 medical and security to NIFTians. There are good hostel rooms with a capacity of 650 girls and 120 boys in the campus with gym and ground in both girls as well as boys hostels. Every year, the canteen tender is changed, so every year, we have new taste, but no compromise with quality.

Faculty: NIFT has a total of 8 departments like B.DES, B.Tech, M.Des, MFM, etc. NIFT has the best faculty members who have knowledge in their field. Most of the faculty members have worked in the industry, so with knowledge, they give us value and experience in the industry. Mostly faculty members use to teach practically not only in classes, but we also go for field studies and craft cluster. The guest faculty members are often called to the college. The curriculum is set in such a way which will help us in surviving in the huge industry of fashion.

Other: Many events are organised in the college. The big events like converge, i.e., inter NIFT sport cultural and literary events conducted in December and spectrum, i.e., inter-college events for colleges of Mumbai. These events have been sponsored by big companies like Globus, Indian Oil, ACC, etc. Since NIFT is a fashion college, many fashion shows conducted in the college. Each festival is celebrated as a big event you will never miss home. We go to different colleges as well to take part in their events. We take part in many big events like Max design competitions on behalf of the college.

Placements: NIFT, Mumbai promises the best placements in the industry. Almost 99% students get placed with the packages as per the industry standards. The industry internship helps the students to understand the demands and needs of the industry from a fashion graduate. They are taught to work under those conditions which would help them survive in the industry in the future.

Infrastructure: NIFT, Mumbai was established in Mumbai, initially in Dadar and later it was shifted to Navi Mumbai. The campus is located in a very serene location. A place which makes peace with nature. All the labs are well occupied with the equipment as per the departmental needs. The resource centre offers a wide variety of books to refer. The entire college provides a free Wi-Fi facility. There is a well-equipped gym on the campus for the students, and it can be accessed with a nominal fee of Rs. 250 per month.

Faculty: The course structure is well-designed and categorised over the entire eight semesters. The first year focuses on basic learning and understanding of the arts and fashion. While the second, third and the fourth year focus on the departmental specialisations and at the end of the third year, there is a two-month industry internship which helps the students to interact with the industry mentors and gain some experience. The faculty members are very encouraging and motivating.

An average college that produces the designers.

Placements: In 2017, the placements were not satisfactory. Very few companies visit our college, but they did not offer good packages. Due to this reason, most of my seniors didn't attend the placements, and the ones who attended didn't get placed in any company. The package offered during the placements are always low, and hardly 5% of the students get the jobs in the placements.

Infrastructure: The buildings are well-planned, and each department has their space. There is Wi-Fi facility on the campus. The computer labs are well-equipped, but the systems do not have a proper antivirus because sometimes the discs and pen drives get corrupted. The medical insurance has been provided to all the students. The labs are good. In the past few years, the seats for the candidates in some departments have increased, but space and the number of labs are same. This creates a hustle. There are too many people working in one lab, and that affects the productivity.

Faculty: Few faculty members are interested in teaching, and the others are just doing their job. The course curriculum is not useful to the students. The curriculum that runs here is just training the students how to get marks and how to become labourers. The faculty doesn't focus on the creativity of the students. The design is a creative field, but they don't focus on the design. We feel like we are going to become tailors rather than fashion designers. There is no industry exposure.

Really good infrastructure and course curriculum.

Placements: Although this centre is the best for placements, the offers in it are underwhelming. The salary starts from 13k. The positions are limited and disappointing. There are a few good brands though. The management courses see the better placements. Brands like reliance, shoppers stop and Maxx are also seen coming to the campus.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are spacious with state of the art technology and machines. The labs are huge and well-maintained. The mess food is okay, basic but hygienic. The hostel rooms are really good. The labs are newly built. The infrastructure is one of the best features of this college. The computer lab is brilliant. The new building has a resource centre which occupies an entire floor. Again they have a variety of books. It is very helpful.

Faculty: Although the faculty is experienced and very knowledgeable, they're unapproachable. They're good people, but unfortunate circumstances make a very hostile working environment. The course is very interesting but requires a lot of efforts and dedication. Not suitable for the weak students.
