MIT School of Bioengineering Sciences and Research offers admission to its PhD programme based on merit in entrance scores. An in-house exam is conducted called PET of MIT-ADT University. However, scores of GATE/NET shall also be accepted. Shortlisted candidates can further also be called for the interview round.

Candidates with a relevant PG degree in the Bioengineering stream with required aggregate can apply. The aspirants with a 2-year master's or MPhil/ME/MS/MBBS/BDS or other relevant degree passed with a minimum of 60% aggregate can apply. During form filling and admission, the aspirants must hold the relevant documents. These are required for verification purposes.

Candidates who have passed a master's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline from a recognised university with at least 55% aggregate can apply for Institute of Science, Nirma University PhD programme. Besides, aspirants who have completed a four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant discipline with a minimum of 75% aggregate can also apply.

Aspirants need to pass a master's degree in relevant discipline from an approved university/ institution with at least 55% aggregate or a minimum CGPA/ CPI of 6 on a 10 point scale or an equivalent grade 'B' to apply for Avantika University PhD programme. Besides, the university conducts Avantika Research Test or ART for admission to PhD. Aspirants who have passed UGC-NET, CSIT-NET, SLET or GATE are exempted from the university-level test.
