Ph.D Eligibility

To pursue PhD in Communication through CAP Test, students have to ensure they meet eligibility requirements given here.

• Masters in Communication/ Mass Communication/ Visual Communication/ Journalism, or any other relevant field. Applicants must also have a strong academic record. It includes a competitive score in standardized graduate aptitude tests like GATE, etc.

No, it is not enough since you will need to pass the interview round. This will be the final step to ensure that you get an admission in PhD programme at IIIT Guwahati. Do note that you will not be getting any travel allowance from the institute for the interview round.

Candidates who have complete master's degree or PG Diploma or its equivalent in any discipline with first-class or BTech/4-year degree with 6.5 CGPA or equivalent are eligible to apply for PhD programme at IIM Amritsar.

Aspirants with any professional qualification such as CA/ ICWA/ CS/CFA- Level-II (USA) with a graduate degree in the relevant subject has a minimum 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grade point average can also apply.

The minimum eligibility for PhD at Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University is that the candidate must hold a 2 year PG degree and 3 year UG degree/ 1 year PG degree and 4 year UG degree. For students having a four year UG degree and directly applying for PhD, the minimum eligibility is having 75% of aggregate marks in the preferred discipline.

The eligibility criteria of PhD course at RV College of Architecture is mentioned below-

• For UG candidates- Pass BArch or equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate
• For PG candidates- Pass MArch or equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate

Aspirants who have completed ME/ M.Tech or equivalent degree in respective discipline with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA (55% aggregate or equivalent CGPA for SC/ ST) from recognised university/ institute are eligible to apply for the PhD programme at BIT Sindri. Besides, candidates need to appear for written test/ interview conducted by the institute for admission to PhD programme.

A PG Diploma programme would not be enough to pursue a PhD in Environmental Law. The basic eligibility for a PhD programme is to have a PG degree from a UGC-approved university. Though, some universities can accept a PG Diploma if it is recognised by AIU and you meet the minimum marks and other criteria.

Candidates who have passed a master's degree in any of the courses conducted by the School/ Integrated master's degree course or its equivalent with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent GPA are eligible to apply for the PhD programme. Aspirants who have passed B.Arch, BPlan or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent with at least 80% or 8.0 GPA or equivalent grade with at least three years experience can also apply.
