At Quantum School of Business, Quantum University, the most popular course is:

👉 MBA (2 years)

Inside MBA, students mostly choose:

  • Marketing

  • Finance

  • HR

  • International Business

  • Supply Chain

BBA is also very popular at the undergraduate level. Some students also go for the integrated BBA + MBA program.

I have done my MBA from Quantum University, and from what I've seen, MBA is the main and most preferred course there. But honestly, your effort matters more than the course name.

For admission to Quantum University Roorkee, there isn't just one fixed entrance exam. It actually depends on the course you're applying for.

For MBA, you can apply through exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, or CMAT. So you've got multiple options — you're not stuck with just one test.

For other courses like BTech, they accept JEE Main, CUET, and sometimes even their own internal entrance process depending on the program.

I've done my MBA from Quantum University, and what I liked is that they give flexibility. If you have a valid entrance score, you can use that, and then your interview and overall profile also matter.

So just pick the exam that

Quantum School of Business at Quantum University (Roorkee/Dehradun area) is a decent choice for business studies in Dehradun and Uttarakhand, but calling it the best depends on what you're comparing it with. It is ranked among top B-schools in Uttarakhand by some magazines and has industry links and placement support. However,  student reviews are mixed — average ratings around 3.5–3.8/5 mention good infrastructure and faculty, but placement rates and quality vary by year and stream. It's a solid option locally, especially if you want a private university environment, but it's not on par with top national B-schools.

Not at all, if you compare the fee structure in all famous colleges, it is double the fee Quantum is charging. Quantum is well known for its affordable fees.

Quantum School of Business at Quantum University is not officially under CUET like central universities (e.g., DU, JNU). It's part of Quantum University, which is a private UGC-recognized university in Roorkee, Uttarakhand.

As a student, I'd explain it like this:

Quantum School of Business is part of the university and offers business programs like BBA and MBA under Quantum University.
It doesn't require CUET as the main way of admission for these business courses.
➡️ Admissions are usually done through the university's own process (like Q-CARE exam, merit, or other accepted tests such as CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT for MBA).
📌 CUET

Most of the people in India consider Quantum University, Quantum School of Business to be Tier 2 school .

Reasons:

Well-placed with a record of placement for Amazon, Capgemini, and IBM.

Being in a tier lower than IITs, NITs, BITS Pilani, and VIT, it has decent infrastructure and programs.

Regionally recognized, its national/international recognition does not match that of Tier 1.

Although it provides good opportunities, in terms of reputation and placement reach, it remains Tier 2.
