Yes, RMIT University offers a range of scholarships to international students beginning their studies across all the study fields. One such scholarship is Future Leaders Scholarship. This scholarship is offered to students from India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal or Pakistan who will start their Bachelor or Master by Coursework programme at RMIT University. As per this scholarship, a 20% tuition fee reduction for the programme duration shall be outlined in the offer letter. International students are required to submit English language proficiency test scores of IELTS / TOEFL / PTE / Cambridge English for admission to the Master of Information Technology at RMIT. Do check the minimum scores required before applying to this course. Given below are the academic requirements for entry to the Master of Information Technology at RMIT.

• Students must have completed an Australian degree or equivalent overseas qualification in any discipline with a minimum GPA of 2.0 out of 4.0
• Students may also be considered if they have minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience or professional practice in programming (web, application, database); ICT Management; Software Engineering; System, Functional, or Business Analysis; Information, System or Enterprise Architecture; Administration; Support; Web Design / Media; Business Information Systems or Information Systems

RMIT’s Master of Information Technology course shall provide students with programming power and tech skills needed to boost their careers. After pursuing this course, students are going to graduate with a strong theoretical base and technical proficiency to be in line with the rapid changes in Technology and Business. Throughout the studies, students are going to apply their newly acquired technical skills to a number of platforms and develop expertise in IT fundamentals, like algorithms, analytics, data mining, cloud computing and programming. The duration of the Master of Information Technology at RMIT is two years.

To pursue a Master of Data Science course at RMIT University, students must have:

• An Australian bachelor’s degree in Computing, Science, Engineering, Health or Statistics with a good GPA of minimum 2.0 out of 4.0, or equivalent OR

• Students can also be considered if they have an Australian bachelor’s degree with a GPA of minimum 2.0 out of 4.0, or equivalent and
• Relevant completed courses in Programming and Statistics in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree or a minimum three years’ of current, relevant work experience or professional practice as a Statistician, Programmer or equivalent

Apart from the above-given academic requirements, international students are required to submit English language proficiency test scores. They can submit the scores of IELTS  (6.5 overall) / TOEFL  (79 overall) / PTE Academic  (58) / Cambridge English (Minimum of 176 with no less than 169 in any component).
