For most of the courses, there is no tuition fee at TUM, but the students are required to pay the semester fee and living cost from their own pockets, although its very low in comparison to most of the other universities based in USA, UK or any other nation. 

There are programs available at UG and PG levels, for which an international student doesn't have to pay any fee.

Yes, tech giant Google is one of the notable companies known to recruit UTokyo graduates.

However, it is not the only notable tech giant that hires UTokyo students, the likes of Accenture, Deloitte, & Hitachi are all among the top companies known to hire graduates from the University of Tokyo.

Yes, UTokyo requires its students to demonstrate decent proficiency of verbal & written English, & therefore does accept popular language test scores like IELTS & TOEFL into consideration.

The minimum IELTS requirement varies for different courses, however, given below are the general scores deemed acceptable for admission by the institute:

Tokyo University application fee is ¥5,000 (approx INR 3k).

Students are advised to submit the fee as part of respective applications, & the fee is non-refundable.

Further, students can also expect some other fees such as an exam fee in the range ¥ 4,000-¥ 23,000 (INR 1.8 K-INR 13.7 K), depending on the course being pursued.
