You may share an anecdote in this regard or may choose to state how pursuing this programme will help you attain your future goals. The introduction should be catchy and authentic.

You must adhere to the word limit if specified by the university that you are applying to. In case, there is no word limit, you may write an LOM for about 800—1000 words. It should neither be too short where there's no content, nor too lengthy to bore the reader.
