The deadline for BCom admission in Madras University is not yet declared for the session of 2024. Candidates may submit their online applications. The university authority may select them according to its merit list or other selections. All prerequisite documents must reach along with the admission form to complete the enrollment process.

Candidates seeking admission to BCom from Madras University can get direct admission to the programme as the university and its affiliated colleges accept the last qualifying examination scores and do not accept any entrance examination rank and scores for its UG programme admissions.

Applicants wishing to be admitted to the BCom programme of Madras University need to apply by filling out the online application form that can be found on its official website. The application process could be accompanied by personal, guardian, and educational details coupled with the uploading of required documents and the application fee. Madras University BCom seats are allotted based on their academic performance in the qualifying examination. The total seat intake for the BCom programme across all the affiliated colleges of the University is INR 13,873. However, the mentioned seat intake is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and, hence, is indicative.

The faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:60 at the Madras University. The University of Madras Chennai India faculty are quite experienced and skilled in training professionals. University of Madras Chennai Tamil Nadu faculty are diploma, PhD, and degree holders. University of Madras Chepauk Chennai invites guest faculty for lectures and several other workshops.

Madras University offers various undergraduate, diploma, postgraduate, and PhD courses across several streams. At the PG level, the university offers MA, MSc, MBA, and other courses to students. The university also provides diploma, certificate, PhD, and other courses to students. MCom students are taught Advanced Marketing, Advanced Management Theory, Advanced Corporate Accounting and Accounting Standards, and other topics.

Yes, MSc at Madras University is a good course which is offered at the PG level. MSc students are placed in top companies at top positions. MSc students can further go for PhD or diploma courses and can became lecturers, teachers, or can even go in Research field. Some of the specialisations in which MSc is provided is Computer Science and others.

The recent placements statistics has not been released by IDE University of Madras for MBA courses, however, as per the students’ reviews on the Shiksha page,  84% of the recent batch was successfully placed in the reputed companies. The the highest and the lowest package offered during the recent Madras University Distance Education placements stood at INR 35 LPA and INR 7 LPA, respectively.
