Q:   What to do after Karnataka PGCET result?
A: 

First of all, candidates must check their results by visiting the official site by following steps below:

Candidates must follow the steps below to check the PGCET Karnataka result 2025:

  1. Visit the official KEA website, that is cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea

  2. Click on the 'Admissions' tab from the main menu.

  3. From the drop-down menu, choose 'PGCET-2025'

  4. From the appearing window, click on the link for Karnataka PGCET results

  5. Enter the login credentials, including the PGCET number, followed by hitting the 'Submit' button.

After the results, candidates who qualify for centralised counselling process to be conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority will be called based on their ranks for the process of document verification. It is advised to the candidates to attend the counselling only if they have the required percentage of marks in the qualifying exam (50 per cent for unreserved categories and 45% for reserved categories). As, this is basic eligibility criteria on which every student must adhere to.

The college is very helpful to students who are really interested in studying BBA.
Placements: There are 100 percent placements in my course. Top recruiting companies for my course are Northern Trust, L&T Technology Services, Apollo Tyres, and Bajaj Finserv. Roles like business executive, marketing executive, financial analyst, human resource executive, and operations manager are offered here. The highest package is 16.15 LPA, and the lowest package is 4.7 LPA. The average package is 7.8 LPA. 100% of students got internships in companies like IYV Home, Policy Bazaar, Cafe Coffee Day, MedPlus, and Gallagher.
Infrastructure: Our college has smart classrooms with digital boards, projectors, and interactive tools. The library has well-stocked books, journals, and digital resources for management studies. The hostel maintains a clean environment and is also very healthy. A wellness center is available in the hostel. It also has indoor and outdoor sports activities and grounds.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are very helpful, highly qualified, and have good knowledge about the subject they teach. The teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite difficult, and the pass percentage is 80.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in business. The best thing about the course is the knowledge of the business environment. It should provide practical knowledge about the subject. The college arranges a lot of events, fests, and other activities.

Top recruiting companies for our course are HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finserv, Deloitte, Wipro, Accenture, Flipkart, Amazon, Nykaa, Medplus, Capgemini, L&T Technology Services, Apollo Tyres, etc. 100 percent of students got internships from our course in more than 80-90 companies like Flipkart, IVBOX Ecom Services Private Limited, Apollo Hospitals, ITC Limited, etc. Roles like sales, marketing, finance, HR, operations management, and digital marketing are offered.
Infrastructure: The college is well structured with digital classrooms. The library is well-stocked and serves as the intellectual hub. It offers hygienic food and quality items. We have a ground to play cricket, basketball, football, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful. They convert theory into practical, so that students can understand easily. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Nothing is difficult, and the pass percentage is 80. They are available 24x7 for any kind of help.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in doing business. I want to become a marketing and business analyst. I have to improve myself in reaching customers online (digital marketing).

It has good and eco-friendly infrastructure.
Placements: The college provides placements in various companies, such as Air India, etc. Packages offered are different for students from other states, like 3-4 lacs for management studies like BCA, BBA, and B.Com. BBA Aviation is the main course in college. Some subjects like cloud computing, AI, logistics, and supply chain management courses are also available in this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good and mainly eco-friendly. It has a quiet place, and each department. It has different buildings, like management studies in one building, another for nursing, etc. Each course has a separate building. The campus provides free Wi-Fi for students and staff members. The hostel food is not good. They support us in sports activities and events. They always try to conduct that.
Faculty: Teachers are good and friendly. They provide each subject notes, previous year question papers, and everything. They check each student's activities and also follow our studies. Exams are not bad and are easy to study. Students who are interested will get more marks. The pass mark is 40 out of 100, and it also includes SE and IA marks.
Other: The college has to improve and conduct more events, and try to retain the regular teachers. After some time, teachers are changing.

Industry-focused curriculum with decent facilities.
Placements: Around 70-80% of students are placed. The highest package is good, and the average is moderate. Companies like Technicolour, MPC, Rockstar, and Byju's recruited. Nearly 60-70% got internships in studios and startups. Roles included Game Artist, Designer, Animator, and VFX Artist.
Infrastructure: ICAT offers good Wi-Fi, equipped labs, smart classrooms and a helpful library. Hostel facilities are average, and the mess food is decent, with a better canteen. Basic medical support is available. Sports options are limited, but overall, the campus is suitable for creative courses.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and experienced, and the teaching is practical-focused. The curriculum is industry-relevant with strong software and project training. Semester exams are moderate and mostly practical, so passing is easy. Overall pass percentage is around 85-95%.

Amount Carmel College – Denotes the major "CCC" (Competent, Confident and Compassionate)
Placements: Around 50 percent of the students from my course were placed in good schools, including St. Angels, with the highest package in a teaching career being about 3.5 LPA. Other students are getting placed in top companies such as Cisco and Nasdaq. .
Infrastructure: Amount Carmel is rated as the 3rd top college in India and the 2nd best college in Bangalore. All facilities are available in the college. It provides the best Wi-Fi connection, all classrooms have smart boards, and the library is vast with all kinds of books. Hostel accommodation is available for all students, with good food service along with canteen food. Every year, the college hosts a khel sports meet and provides good medical and counseling services.
Faculty: The college has the best faculty with more than 150 teachers, most of whom are Ph.D. holders. The curriculum and syllabus are relevant, and semester exams are pretty easy if well prepared. The passing percentage is around 33 percent. The faculty and staff are very supportive. Thank you.
Other: I chose this course because it is integrated and beneficial for me, as I saved an extra year. This course provided good exposure, and I had my best 45-day internship at MEC Public School. One of the best fests is conducted by the Carmelites.

My experience and learnings from ABBS.
Placements: 50 percent are placed in my batch, the highest package offered is 16 LPA, and the average package offered is 4 LPA. The top companies are Amazon, KPMG, Federal Bank, etc, and top roles are in sales only. Almost 40 percent of students got internship opportunities from ABBS, and I got internship opportunity too from ABBS in the Golden Tree Awards Dubai in a marketing specialist role.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average, there will always be issues with classroom projectors, and the IT team is not that good. I never used Wi-Fi in college, and the library is good. They have a good number of books in the library, and we can take them home for about 10 days. There are almost no sports.
Faculty: Teachers in ABBS are very good with corporate experience. They will teach the topics with practical things and from their corporate experience. The curriculum is relevant to the industry, and they have a very good curriculum. Semester exams are a little hard to pass.

Q:   What if two candidates score the same marks in Karnataka UGCET result?
A: 

Karnataka Examination Authority has released the KCET results online at the official website. In case two or more candidates score the same marks in the KCET exam then KEA opts for tie-breaking formula. The tie-breaking formula for KCET is given below. 

  • The marks secured in Biology / Mathematics will be considered BTech and other courses.    

  • If the tie still persists then the marks obtained by the candidates in Chemistry / Physics will be considered. BTech and other courses.  

  • If tie still persists then the marks obtained in specific subjects in the qualifying exam will be considered.  

  • If still the tie is not broken, then the candidate's age will be taken into consideration. The candidate with higher age will be assigned a higher rank.
