Direct admission to the Aliah University Kolkata BTech is not applicable. Candidates must appear for the Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) entrance exam to secure admission to the BTech course. Students are shortlisted for final admission based on the BTech eligibility criteria and the exam scores. The university releases a provisional merit List/ result based on the exam performance.
To secure BTech admission at Aliah University -City Campus candidates must have a valid qualification first, i.e.: Class 12 with 50% - 60% aggregate in the relevant subject. Eligible candidates must now complete the entire admission process including the application process, selection process, entrance exam, GD & PI, merit lists, and final admission. Finally, candidates must pay the Aliah University BTech fee to secure final admission. Candidates must pay the Aliah University courses fee within that scheduled date & time candidates via online mode only applicable for all the courses.
To secure admisson to the MBA course at Aliah University City Campus, candidates must have Class 12 or the score of the national/state-level entrance exam. Aspirants also need to secure at least a minimum percentage of 50% to get admission to the MBA course. Abhilashi University MBA admission is open for the academic session 2024 - 2025. To secure admission to the MBA course candidates must complete the entire admission procedure whichincludes multiple steps including the application process, selection process, entrance exam, GD & PI, merit lists, and final admission.
Further, candidates must appear for the in-house entrance exam Aliah University Admission Test. Candidates are shortlisted for final admission based on the MBA eligibility criteria and the exam scores. The university releases a provisional merit List/ result based on the exam performance.

The facilities of the Aliah university is good along withe the faculties. But the issue id with the co-curricular activities that shold be there in every college.
There are no programmes or functions as such so as to help the students develop their talents in other fields.
The placement ratio in the university is also very low.
However the campus is very beautiful.

Aliah University Engineering NIRF report 2025 is released. As per the report, a total of 141 students were placed out of 256 students, and 60 students opted for higher studies during Aliah University BTech placement in the AY 2024. The mediocre package received by BTech and MTech students in the AY 2024 stood at INR 5.3 LPA and INR 6.1 LPA, respectively.

AUAT 2023 Admission Process
- Firstly, the Registration process - the candidate will have to register online on the official website of Aliah University in order to apply for the AUAT 2023 exam.
- Fill Application Form.
- Now, you have to appear for AUAT exam.
The Total Fees stucture is availabe for the students in their official site. Where as the fee stucture for the PG courses is not that clear in the official site.
However the fees for the master of law (LLM) is around Rs 9700 for 2 years.
The fees for the Master of Arts (MA) for 2 years is Rs 6100.
The fees for the course of Master of Science (M.Sc) for 2 years is Rs 22050.
And for MA journalism and mass communication the fees for 2 years is Rs 28100.
However personally if I suggest the fees for the PG Courses is not very high in the Aliah University.
Candidates should have bachelor's degree in B.E/B.Tech in relevant discipline with 6.5 DGPA from any AICTE approved institution or candidates who have passed/appeared 7th semester with 6.5 CGPA (till 6th semester) may also apply. M.Tech.

No. AU LAT admit card will not be sent by post to any candidate. The hall ticket has to be downloaded online from the official website.
