Really good university with good infrastructure, placement facilities, and faculty members.
Placements: Amity University Gurugram is the best college, and the placement opportunities here are really good. According to NIRF, the placement is really good, with companies like Wipro and Amazon recruiting students. Every student from B.Sc. Forensic Science has done their internships in main labs like CFSL, SFSL, and RFSL. The top roles offered in our course are scientific officer, lab in charge, and crime scene investigator.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Amity University Gurugram is top-notch and really lively, surrounded by greenery. Classrooms are equipped with audio-visuals, and labs are well-equipped. The library is main to be well-structured, with every course-related book and journal available in both offline and online access. The hostel facility is also good for both boys and girls hostels are well-equipped with 24/7 security and Wi-Fi. Other facilities like the gym, cafeteria, and medical room are also really good.
Faculty: Teachers here are really educated and well-trained. Every teacher is highly qualified and very helpful with the curriculum. They teach according to the course and provide study materials. The curriculum teaches both theory and practical-based, which prepares students for industry-ready. Semester exams are okay, and faculty members prepare us according to the exam syllabus.

Good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: University has a dedicated placement cell but no placement for forensic students.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure with a library, labs, free Wi-Fi, canteens. The classrooms are spacious. Medical facilities are also available. The campus is beautifully designed. The campus is neat and clean.
Faculty: Amity University is good in terms of academics and faculty members. Teachers are well experienced and quite helpful. They not only teach us curriculum but also inculcate moral values. We get a chance to study a course of our choice under an Open elective (Minor degree programme) simultaneously alongside the core course.
Other: Amifest is held every year.

Amity University, Gurugram is worth the hype.
Placements: Approximately 45 students graduated this year with a baccalaureate degree in forensic science (Hons) from Amity University, Gurugram. I am delighted that the majority of the students have performed wonderfully in their academics and internship programs undeniably with the help of our intellectual professors. I am very keen to get internships from this course and practically assess all the knowledge I can. This course provides a range of roles like investigating officer (IO), director, senior and junior scientific officers, lab assistants in Forensic Science Laboratories (FSLs), etc.
Infrastructure: Amity provides facilities in abundance, and the campus is amazingly built. There are air-conditioned classrooms and corridors. There are a Wi-Fi facility and auditoriums in every building block to ease learning and organise programmes and do celebrations. Our college has a deluxe and well-equipped central library and well-equipped laboratories, canteens, a safe and friendly environment, etc., to facilitate the students and staff members.
Faculty: Nearly all professors in Amity University, Gurugram are qualified with a PhD degree. Besides that, they're intellectually great and approachable. Teachers try their best to deliver the best which they know. The course curriculum is designed with great thoughts, and it is absolutely relevant and worthy.
Other: Amity University, Haryana is one of the top-notch educational institutes in the nation, which offers a heap of disciplines giving students a fair and sporting chance to discover their capabilities without failing to inculcate moral values. The entire campus provides students with a commendatory ambiance or a welcoming environment. Teachers here are very intelligent and equally approachable. There are a world-class central library and military camps which ensure positive and disciplined growth. The university also gives its students a chance to learn foreign languages.

The best private university, and I am satisfied with faculty, good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Our university has a dedicated placement cell that helps us to forge ahead. But after B.Sc. only 30% of the students get jobs. After M.Sc., many students get jobs in labs. Many of them are placed in the college itself. The lowest package offered is 3.5 LPA approximately.
Infrastructure: Amity University provides many facilities like free Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, library, lifts, and medical rooms. The quality of food is good in the mess is good. The classrooms are spacious. The campus is beautifully designed. The cafeteria is well-designed for students.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and are very helpful. They not only teach us the curriculum but also inculcate moral values. The teaching quality can be rated 10 on 10. The course curriculum is relevant.
Other: Forensic science is an interesting course for any creative and curious mind. Amity University organises Amifest and Sangathan event every year.

Placements: Students get placements in forensic science laboratories in the government and private sectors, and internships are also compulsory for all students. Internships are provided by the finest forensic science laboratories and institutions.
Infrastructure: Amity University has 24-hour Wi-Fi connectivity. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Classrooms are air-conditioned. Laboratories at our university have all the modern equipment, which is imparting practical knowledge to students. The library is the hallmark of our campus, and it has a huge collection of books, journals and publications. The library is spacious and elegant. There are auditoriums, military camps and canteens.

University provides interaction with different people from different part of India.
Placements: Almost 30% of students are in forensic science branch. As it is a university, there is an equal percentage of students in all fields. Forensic science is an interdisciplinary field. The salary package offered is according to the experience obtained by the students in this field. Laboratory-based companies offer jobs to students.
Infrastructure: The college is spread over 110-acre of land with sports facilities, and military training is an additional subject which is compulsory for all students. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and the infrastructure is also good. Classrooms are huge, and there is a separate building for a library.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified and experienced in their subjects. The way of teaching is mostly through the presentation. The course curriculum is according to Delhi University. Students have different options to choose after completing their bachelor.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is very interesting and the field is totally investigation-based, solving criminal cases and high profile cases and understanding the criminology of India. The college should provide a separate department for forensic science which will be better for our course. Apart from academic, Amity University also hosts the cultural fest known as Amifest.

Amity has a lot of branches in India.
Placements: Placements are very good in any of the branches of Amity. Amity, Gurgaon also has good placements, but, you can't compare it with Amity, Noida. The latter has high placements. Various companies visit Amity, and they seek well-deserved students. Many of the seniors have been placed well.
Infrastructure: No other college can beat Amity regarding infrastructure. It is a huge campus with marvellous planning along with a good atmosphere, and awesome greenery. There is CCD, Dosa Plaza, other stalls, good playgrounds, labs, classrooms, etc. But Wi-Fi is of bad quality, and quite annoying.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, I think so. A few are not up to the mark. They teach us putting their efforts. We are taught practically even, which makes our concepts more clear. There are a huge number of faculty members here, and most of them are highly qualified.

Im completely dissatisfied of our faculty. They are not supporting us in any way. No placements also
Placements: Placements are often not given to our course in our university. However, one of the last year students got placement and that also at low payment. Most of the companies visit our college but None of them is related to forensic Science. And also no internship is provided by our university from our course. It is also feeling bad to say that the faculty isn't even supporting us. Whenever we try for internship in forensic labs, Our faculty does not provide us with NOC.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure. But our labs are not good, most often they don't have the chemicals needed for our practical works. But other facilities like Wi-Fi, Classrooms are good. It is sad to say that our medical facilities are poor. Food from the canteen is very costly and not good at all. The hostel facilities are very good and we doesnot face any issues on stay on hostel.
Faculty: Course curriculum is good but the faculty is not good enough to deliver good knowledge. Quality of teaching is very bad since we are not given proper practical knowledge on experiments that is there in our Forensic Course. However the teachers are well qualified. They have not taken us to any industrial visit. They don't support us in any of such matters. There is no special teaching techniques, they just dictate notes in class and leave us. Student to faculty ratio is good. Course curriculum doesnot cover Forensic Science in detail.
Other: They initially gave me scholarship, later on they started to give many excuses and stop giving me scholarship even if I had good marks to obtain scholarship There used to be Amifest where many competitions are held. And it is conducted for two days.

For SC/ST at Amity Gurgaon : There is no separate eligibility. It is Common for all.
Eligibility : 10+2 (min 55%) with min 55% in PCM/PCB for B.Sc (Hons) Forensic Science.

I think it depends on your interest i.e. what you like and what is a good option for you but in general for forensic sciences, if you are really interested in it then it is a very good option. There are many courses in various fields offered in various institutes in India. It depends on you. choose the course in which you interested.. If you interested in engineering then you may take admission in IIT
