Life and learning at Amity University, Gurugram.
Placements: University provides 100% placement assistance to all students. Recruiting companies are Biocon, Panacea Biotech, Serum Institute, and many other food and pharmaceutical companies. Research labs visit the university IN CRC department to help students in internships.
Infrastructure: Amity has AC and non AC both the facilities separate for boys and girls. The rooms are clean with attached washrooms. Wi-Fi is available and the curfew time is 7:30 PM. Staff are supportive of 24/7 security. There are more than 3000 seated hostels surrounded by green landscape.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and most faculty members hold Ph.D. in biotechnology, microbiology, and biochemistry from AIMS. DU and JNU generally follow a concept of presentation and live demonstrations research paper presentation and seminars. We have to study for whole year.

A good college with helpful teachers and a friendly campus environment.
Placements: I am a B.Sc. Biotechnology student and around 80% of students got placed. Companies like Biocon, Cipla, Serum Institute, and many other institutes are recruiting. Our placement cell is very helpful with resume building and interview preparation. I'm happy with the placement and internship packages.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Amity University Gurugram is modern and well-maintained. Campus is clean, green, and spread across a large area. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards and projectors and the entire campus has good Wi-Fi connections. We have an AC and non-AC 3000 seated hostel.
Faculty: Amity has an industry-based curriculum we have to study for a whole year. Evaluation is serious. Teaching is good teaching and teachers are Ph.D. qualified and well-experienced having experience in academics and research. Faculty members have patents and various publications we learn from live projects.

The best infrastructure, placements, and facilities.
Placements: Placements are somewhat good for B.Sc. biotechnology students. There are more opportunities for B.Tech biotechnology students. I have not seen many lab-oriented placements for biotechnology students, but if I talk about the package then it is good for a fresher. They provide numerous opportunities for every student of every interest. Whether it is sales or marketing or it is IT or counseling.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good in the college, hostel, and environment. It is one of the best campuses you can ever see. A very clean and beautiful campus. The hostel facilities are also good. If anyone is thinking to stay in a hostel, then just go for it. It will be one of the best decisions you can ever make.
Faculty: The faculty members of biotechnology are very much qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable. They are humble as well. You will get to learn soo much from them. Even the Director of AIB, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, is also a very supportive and humble person. But you must maintain your attendance, and they are very strict regarding attendance.
Other: The best thing about my college is our campus. And about biotechnology course is their hi-tech labs. They are improving with time.

Placements: Biotechnology is a field of research. Around 40% of the students got placed in companies on the campus. The salary package offered for a fresh competent candidate in biotech is around 2.5 to 7.5 LPA. Recruiting companies are Macquarie Global Services Private Limited, Beta Three, Quality Tutorial Pvt Ltd CampK12, Pepsico India Holdings Pvt Ltd, Merck Life Sciences, etc.
Infrastructure: The biotechnology department is in A-block, where we have different labs, i.e., animal biotechnology lab, plant biotechnology lab, genetic lab, etc. We get free Wi-Fi on the campus, and there are many cafeterias on the campus. The central library acts as a hub for students and faculty members.
Faculty: Faculty members of the biotechnology department are quite knowledgeable and helpful. They help students with their doubts. Semester exams are quite difficult because faulty members want students to do self-study and refer to different books to gain knowledge.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in researching. Fests are conducted on different occasions.

The college has very supportive teachers, eco-friendly infrastructure, and good laboratories.
Placements: Various companies visit our college over the year, and a good number of students got placements. Every year, skill development programs are organised on the campus, so a high number of students get placements. The selection is made on the basis of interviews, and training is also provided.
Infrastructure: The college has a very eco-friendly environment and building. Cleanness is one of the most attractive things, which is most satisfying. Laboratory facilities are up to date to match model instruments and protocols. Laboratories are well-designed to reach students' requirements.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are highly satisfactory as per the curriculum. All faculty members are doctorate holders and highly experienced. The friendly nature of faculty members is very inspiring and motivating. The course curriculum is good, but still, it needs improvements as per requirements. Faculty members are highly educated, experienced and very cooperative.
Other: The biotechnology industry and research-oriented programs have motivated me to fulfill my dreams.

The college is committed for education and personality development of students.
Placements: Our college provides internships to most of the students. Around 3 LPA-Rs. 4 LPA packages are offered to some of the students. Our college offers training for the students on top roles like laboratory technicians, teaching SAP to understand social problems better through surveys. Our college offers the foreign language course to help us get placed in various MNCs.
Infrastructure: The best facilities and infrastructure are available in our labs and departments. Wi-Fi is available. Our library has a lot of books by renowned authors. There are digital screens and laboratories with all the required equipment and instruments. Our college makes sure of proper cleanliness. The quality of the hostel and food was also excellent and hygienic with adequate maintenance.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified, knowledgeable and cooperative. Teaching quality was good, as the teachers taught the students using both digital mode and whiteboards. They provide constant evaluations by conducting the tests regularly. The course curriculum is relevant and nicely executed.

The faculty is great as they guide the students throughout the placement process.
Placements: About 60 % students get placed but others go for higher studies. The highest salary goes up to 18 LPA. The average salary is around 4-5 LPA. The companies that visit our college are Biocon, Dr. Reddy's laboratories, etc. The teachers try guiding us throughout the process of placements.
Infrastructure: The college has a very good and clean infrastructure. The classrooms are big with AC and projectors. The laboratories are well-equipped. There is a central library with many books. There are many cafeterias with tasty affordable food. The hostel is present inside the college only with 3 rooms in one suite and 2 people in each room. Students are given a choice of AC and Non- AC rooms. We also have a sports centre and military camp.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified. Most of the teachers try to help their students but some are a bit rude. The teaching quality is also very good. We are taught both theoretical and practical knowledge. The course curriculum is updated and make the students industry ready. I.

Really good infrastructure, facilities and faculty.
Placements: A variety of renowned organisations has been coming for the recruitment in our university. An average amount of students is recruited in placements. The roles offered includes marketing executives, engineers, lab assistants, researchers, advocates etc. The internship from college is also an option for the students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, all kinds of research labs and instruments are available in our college. The infrastructure includes a well-maintained library, medical facilities and a sports complex. We have cafeterias, a dosa plaza, a Cafe Coffee Day outlet and a gym. It has all facilities for hostel students like an ATM and a separate canteen. The overall infrastructure is amazing and we face no issues.
Faculty: The faculty team provided is very knowledgeable. The teaching methods are very helpful and easy to understand. The faculty members in our college are renowned scholars who are well known for their research and work. We have also been provided with 2 industrial visits, and the course curriculum is also very useful.

Yes, you can get admission in BPT as minimum eligibility is 60% and you have scored around 85. So, definitely, you are eligible for BPT course. So, just look out for the college which you want to apply.
