Yes, Amity University Kolkata offers direct admission to its various courses. Direct admission implies that the candidates will not be required to attend entrance tests or Personal Interviews for admission. Scores obtained in the last qualifying exam will be considered for the selection process. Courses like BCA/BCA (Hons), BBA< BBA LLB (Hons) and MA are merit-based. Direct admission eligibility is a score of a minimum of 80% in Class 12. The minimum eligibility to apply for the UG courses is Class 12 if a minimum of 50% and for PG courses is Graduation.

Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria can apply. The eligible students can visit the official website (amity.edu) and submit a duly filled application form online. Candidates can also submit the application form offline. Further, based on performance in JEE Main/Amity JEE followed by group discussion and personal interview, the seat allotments are carried out.

The total fee including major expenses is estimated between INR 11.16 Lacs and INR 11.38 lakh. The overall fees may vary depending on specialisation and facilities chosen. Total fees include security depoists, admission charges, tuition fees, and examination fees.

Candidates who have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 55% aggregate in PCB or PCM are eligible to take admission. In addition, the students with 80% and above aggregate in Class 12 (CBSE/ISC/State-Boards) are exempted from the selection process. Further, depending upon the BTech specialisation, the candidate should have studied particular subjects in class 12, such as Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (PCM) or Biology (PCB). The basic difference between sponsored and non sponsored categories offers a high merit admission to students whereas latter involves relatively lower merit with high fees. The admission criteria and selection process for admission under both categories also differs.

The application fee for various UG and PG courses offered at Amity University Kolkata is INR 1,100. The application fee is payable online via a debit/ credit card or net banking.
