It has good infrastructure and good placements.
Placements: 76% of students were placed in my course last year and there is a chance that this number might increase in upcoming years as this is a growing field. The highest package ranges from above 12-15 LPA, and the lowest package ranges from 4-5 LPA. The average package ranges from 7-9 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Biocon, Cipla, Aculife Pharmaceutical, etc., visit the college for placements. Approximately 89% of students get internships based on their performance in companies like Cipla, etc. Top roles are offered in my course. If we go for PhD, then we can be a researcher or work at a 9 AM to 5 PM job.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great. It has a Wi-Fi connection. There are all items we need for labs. Classrooms are really nice. The library is well-maintained and we get every book we need for your course. Hostel facilities are also awesome. The quality of mess and canteen is also above average. There are proper medical facilities. Sports and games are also given equal attention.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful here. Some teachers are a bit problematic. Teachers look after every student who raises concerns. The teaching quality is quite nice. The course curriculum is very much relevant to what we need to do later on in our field job. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready if they attend all the theory and lab classes properly. Semester exams are not that tough if we just follow the class. The pass percentage is above 90%.
Other: I chose this course because it is a growing field and the future in this course is quite bright. I also like to do research work so it is very helpful for me. The best thing about this course is that it makes us industry-ready. I wish there should be no irrelevant subjects like history, stress management, etc. Events, fests, the campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, extracurricular activities, etc., are amazing here.

Average college, it should be your last choice to get admission here as there is no placement.
Placements: I’m an undergraduate student in this college pursuing BSc Hons in Biotechnology, so here in this course, we have no placements at BSc level. If someone does an MSc, then they can get a placement. There are no such roles offered to us as far as now.
Infrastructure: Labs are very well equipped with all facilities, just like every other college. There are minor problems regarding labs. Classrooms are also good. We have ac working 24/7 and a projector for teaching. Wi-Fi is also provided. I'm not a hosteler, but as far as I know, it is good, and the food in our canteen is very good.
Faculty: The faculties are helpful and also qualified. This curriculum is relevant, but if someone is really interested in science and research work, then only one should opt for this course as there is no job in bsc level for biotech students as this field requires more and more information.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in Biotechnology subjects. The improvement in this course is to remove subjects which are irrelevant to our course. The college conducts lots of events , annual fests, etc.

A review on Amity University, Kolkata .
Placements: As students, we have about 70 students in our course. The passed-out batches had good placements, with an average 1.5 LPA. One can also pursue a Ph.D. after the completion of the course. Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, Flipkart and TCS hire students on campus.
Infrastructure: Our college provides free Wi-Fi to all students. The laboratories have all the equipment necessary. The classroom and library have great infrastructure. The college itself has one of the best infrastructures in Kolkata. We have different kinds of sports in our own sports complex. The hostel also provides great facilities .
Faculty: The teachers are the best part. They are helpful, knowledgeable and always on their feet to guide and help each student. The curriculum is relevant, provides hands-on knowledge and guides a student through everything that is required for the outside world. Daily assignments and projects are given, along with exams, to the students.
Other: Apart from a good education, the college provides a good campus life. Different events take place throughout the year, along with studies. The college also hosts different seminars and events apart from the annual fest. The college provides scholarships to students based on their class 12th marks.

In this college, faculty members are great.
Placements: In case of B.Sc. in biotechnology, students generally go for M.Sc. before getting placed. So in case of getting chances at great, prestigious colleges in India and abroad. Amity can be considered a good place to complete bachelors degree in biotechnology. Other than that, students can placed in companies like Envigo, Nivanet, CVENT, Pepsi co, and so on.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this university can be considered to be one of the best. Wi-Fi facilities are not good. Even after registering students device for Wi-Fi via Amazon, they do not get any Wi-Fi connection on campus. Food is available in the canteen at a very reasonable rate. Thalis, cold drinks, beverages, and all sorts of food is available in the canteen.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good, qualified, and knowledgeable. Every faculty member take a lot of care to make sure that students are understanding each topic properly. They also discuss important questions and take class tests which help in the exams.
Other: I chose this course because my passion has always been biotechnology and I am glad I chose Amity University Kolkata because of its faculty members and laboratory facilities.

It is excellent in every respect and is one of the best university in Kolkata.
Placements: Almost everyone gets placed, and recruiters are mainly from Biotech Firms, Edu-Tech industries like Byju's and Research Fields. Internships are allotted to all students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities available in Amity University Kolkata are according to international standards. Hardly there are any universities in India, that provide this level of facilities and infrastructure. Hostels are like 4 stars, and canteen is also good. Top-class facilities for sports and games are provided. The building from the outside looks like a world-class airport or shopping mall.
Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified, most of them have doctorate degrees. All teachers are very helpful and friendly but also strict when required. All course curriculum is extremely relevant and makes them ready for their respective field. The entire course is harder than the course followed in other universities, and exams are tough sometimes but with time students get used to it.
Other: Biotechnology is a growing and evolving field in India as well as for the rest of the world. I could see a better future in this field, so I opted for this field. I do not feel that there is any requirement for change in the course. Events and fests are excellent. The campus crowd is good and friendly.

It is a very good campus and is like a home.
Placements: For B.Sc the program, there are no placements. The college provides every student with one internship after the 2nd year, and the place is more or less fixed in Calcutta Mathematical society for most of the students. If the batch is lucky enough then different colleges also provide but not through the placement cell. In our case, it was so because our faculty members had someone known in some other college/institute). Internships are also research-based.
Infrastructure: Campus infrastructure is the best and anyone could ever think. The entire campus has centralised-air conditioning system. Wi-Fi is available for 24hrhs on the entire campus of around 110 acres. The library has very good collections, with high-speed Wi-Fi, different types of chairs, couch, etc. The library is of 2 floors. Every classroom has a projector, whiteboard and the seats for students are somewhat recliner type, and very spacious. For our course, only computer lab was applicable for computer programming. We also have appropriate lab facilities. Law students have a mini court kind of setup. Hostel facilities are also very good, daily cleaning is done. There is RO water on each floor. We had a common room with a TV for everyone on alternate floors. Central air-conditioned hostels, geysers, etc., are provided. There is a clinic right below the hostel and for all minor cases, a nurse will take care of it. Almost daily one doctor visits this clinic at a specific timing. Sports and games had a new complex which includes table tennis, badminton, volleyball, swimming pool, etc., are there. Previously hostel was of 13 floors with 10 rooms and in each room, there were two separate rooms with 2 occupancies. The same is the girls' hostel also. But one more complex is constructed and the basement has a swimming pool and gaming facilities, etc., and the remaining floors are hostel which is not inaugurated yet. The campus is currently closed because of the pandemic.
Faculty: Almost every teacher you find in our department is a Ph.D. scholar, and a few are also doing their part-time Ph.D. You will never have complaints regarding this. The course curriculum is also designed in a very good way. Semester examinations are conducted very strictly and I've seen this incident in my room also, during the examination. Any student trying to cheat will get UFM on his/her mark sheets.
Other: I wanted to do M.Sc in mathematics, so I opted for this course. Anyone who loves maths will find this curriculum very enjoyable. No improvement is required as such for our course. College fests are good here, and we call it Amiphoria, for 3-4 days and is packed up with daily one different artist. During our course, we had Arjun Kanugo, progressive brothers DJ, Papon daa, and some others too. One will enjoy these days, apart from this we also have annual sports meet for every game. All in all, one would love this campus. There are 3 different canteens for eateries.
