Best college in Lucknow for masters in English with good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements at Amity are okay, I don't know much about it as currently, I am in 2nd semester only. But as I see my seniors appearing for placements. I can assure there is something that is better than nothing. Teachers are helpful and will make sure you do well and get a positive outcome.

Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, great library, classroom is good but I will say washrooms are not that clean. But the campus is beautiful not going to lie, you will have everything to relish. There is a canteen with more than average tasty food. Mess is also available for both day scholars and hostellers for just Rs 50 which satisfies us fully.

Faculty: Teachers are best, trust me when I say if you genuinely want to study M.A. in English from Lucknow. Amity is a place for you from extravagant syllabus to world-class teachers you have it all. We are also learning a foreign language which is good for us to make us eligible for different opportunities.

Other: I wanted to be in Amity because of how synchronized the teaching way is but after coming here I have learned way more than that. Faculty members here really encourage students to do things that make them best, it's like from studies to motivating they have it all. There is a really strict attendance thing that I would like to change. Because having 75% attendance is fine but marks on the basis of attendance are a little too much its like we are bound to go even if one is not fine. Events like Amiphoria happen annually for 3 days full of laughter, happiness, etc.

This university helped me change my personality a lot.

Placements: Most of the students go for higher studies after the course ends. But there have been a lot of majorities that got placed in advertising and editing companies in previous batches. Few have cracked the entrance exam for foreign universities for higher studies. Usually, the professors are helpful in providing students with opportunities where they can get placed in good companies.

Infrastructure: The building has a touch of Greek monuments. The university keeps on maintaining the infrastructure from time to time. It even has a gym and swimming pool. The grounds are big enough to play at least three games at a time. Canteen has a good stock of items which contain everything from white sauce past to south Indian.

Faculty: Faculty members are very knowledgeable and helpful. They are understanding. The curriculum stands stall among all this, the course is beautifully designed into several subjects that cover the vast area in that particular field. The exams are held with good breaks in between and the flying squad makes sure that no unfair means is used to pass the examination.

Other: The university has different club activities going on on the campus on a daily basis. There is a dramatics club, a dance club, a band, and what not which students are free to join as soon as they join the university. The cultural events are an integral part of university life with Amiphoria (a 3-day fest ) and Sangathan (sports fest) as few of the major events.

Review of Amity University, Lucknow.

Placements: A majority of students opt for PhD in English and, side by side, prepare for competitive exams such as NET. I personally opted for a certification course known as TEFL. There are other opportunities, like jobs in leading MNCs and other internship opportunities offered by the university. There's a lot of in-campus recruitment also.

Infrastructure: Our infrastructure is roughly based on old Roman buildings, which is awesome. We have centralised air-conditioned classrooms with separate seats, which is again very comfortable. We have Wi-Fi access for students. We have a small canteen in the department buildings and a big mess dedicated to hostelers, but day scholars can also visit and chill there. We have a gym library and every piece of sports equipment. We also have a great football team and a women's basketball team.

Faculty: Our course curriculum is up-to-date and makes one industry ready as well as qualified for teaching. The course is on point, and with the help of overqualified teachers, it's a great environment for literature students. We have a paper which has to be submitted every semester known as the NTCC, which gave me the habit of writing. It's a great university.

Other: Literature is my passion. There are cultural events as well as sports events. We also have scholarships that are based on merit, which is a good thing because it forces students to work hard.

Placements: Placements are very good. All students were placed with excellent salary packages. Designations offered were good as well. There is a placement cell in our college which provides support for students. Hence, it is quite useful.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is hi-tech and updated. Facilities like labs, classrooms, sports and games are amazing, and it provides ample exposure. Even the canteen provides healthy food, with balanced nutritional value. Hostel rooms are spacious, clean and well-taken care.

Faculty: Educators are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are extremely helpful when students approach them. The teaching quality is good, and they take care of what students have understood in the concept. Students-faculty ratio is good, and they provide relevant exposure.
