Review of Amity University, Noida.
Placements: According to my course, the placements are not 100%, as shown by the college. Last year, only 1 or 2 companies came here. Only 20% of the students from my batch got placed with minimum packages. The companies were Amul and Pernod Ricard. For internships, you have to ask faculty about their contacts in the industry if you don't have any source.
Infrastructure: The campus has different blocks for every department. Some of the equipment in labs give good readings, and some with errors take time. Due to many users, Wi-Fi is poor. Hygiene is average. Classrooms are average. The library is huge and nice. The hostel fee is high for AC rooms and low for non-AC rooms, but AC ones are good as they are spacious and have lights and other facilities. You have to pay for the food you eat. But you will get others benefits like laundry, pools, and a discount on gym fees. Medical facilities are good, but you have to pay for emergency cases.
Faculty: The faculty members are average. Some of them teach well, while some don't. Not every student is ready for the industry. They have to prepare themselves. Faculty members give a chance to those students who are good in academics, but not all the students get an opportunity.
Other: Not every course is good at Amity. You have to choose wisely. There are many things to improve. In my last 2 years, I haven't seen any fest. Events are conducted, but you have to take permission from your department to attend the fest and get attendance. The crowd is good. Scholarships are provided based on the percentage. Departments give good students the duty of conducting activities.

The college value for money and provides with good exposure.
Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA. Bernhardt Rickhardt, Atharwal labs, Varun beverages, etc., were the top recruiting companies. Quality manager and production coordinator are the top roles offered to students. Almost 100% of the students got an internship in companies like Nestle, Parle and others.
Infrastructure: The campus is good with a lot of facilities like labs, fully laptop and compatible classrooms. The entire campus is enabled with Wi-Fi. Libraries are equipped with many research databases. Hostels are good with double and triple sharing rooms. The food is decent like home made. There are fields and courts for all sports.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were good, qualified and knowledgeable. They were also helpful and supportive in everything. The course curriculum is extremely good with mandatory internships and industry training to bridge the gap between the industry and academics. Students become industry-ready.

The campus life is boring.
Placements: Only 3-4 companies visit the campus for final placements, and they usually offer a salary package of 2.5-3 LPA for core profiles. Less than 10% of the batch gets placed in the core sector. Profiles from the R&D and operation sectors were offered to students. Perfetti is one among the companies that visited our campus for placements. Rest of the students are eligible for IT roles, and these roles are offered to the students of any B.Tech specialisation. This is the common scenario during the placement process at Amity University. Roles offered are of test engineer, and the salary package offered was around 3 LPA. Students are required to get summer internships by themselves. However, faculty members provide some references for internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. A bowling alley, a huge cafeteria along with Subway and Dominos outlets are available here. Wi-Fi connectivity is generally slow. All games and sports, ranging from cricket to shooting are available. Quality of food served in the canteen is above average. The classrooms available here are okay.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are qualified. The interested students can ask their doubts even after class hours. Most of the faculty members are have completed their PhDs, but the industry exposure provided is low. The student to faculty ratio is 50:1. The curriculum consists of good subjects. Labs and pilot labs provide a good enough experience.
Other: Events like star night and DJ night are the most anticipated events among all the events that are organised here. The campus crowd is mixed, so I suggest you try to find the right people to interact and hang out.

Good infrastructure and facility.
Placements: Placements are very good in my college. All students were sitting in the placement and the highest salary that was offered was 25,000 per month. Roles that are offered are quality executive, sales marketing, production head and so on. For an internship, students have to apply on their own but teachers help us in finding the internship.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available in my college. All the classrooms are well cleaned and labs are also well-equipped. The quality of food is also good. The maintenance department does their duty very well. I haven't face any infrastructure problem because of the maintenance department. They always correct the thing before time.
Faculty: Faculty of my department was really helpful. They always guide us in choosing the right path. They teach us in theoretical as well as experimental way. They also help us in finding the good internship. They are also available outside the college for our help even now if I call them for same help they guide me and help me in choosing the right path.
Other: Rest was organised by our college every year and the crowd was so awesome. Scholarship was given to the first three toooera of our class.

Life in Amity University is good if you have friends.
Placements: Placements were okay. Around 25 per cent students were placed. 3.5 is the largest package offered. There were very few companies from food industries but IT companies and mechanical companies were quite in number. They wanted students to work as a trainee for 6 months and later decide on what should be done next. Yes there is a placement cell.
Infrastructure: Amity infrastructure is very good. Everything is available in campus from gaming zones and eateries to Labs and Wi-Fi. The classrooms are well-equipped and ventilation is amazing. Amity has its own canteen with a few restaurants too like Dosa Plaza and Domino's which provide pretty good quality food.
Faculty: The teachers are all helpful qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is okay and they just need to work a little on creativity. Few teachers are very creative while few arena't. Yes we had two industrial visit while our college. We went to yakult and dawaat rice factory.

Very much satisfied with the college.
Placements: Placements are quite good. Though my course is an emerging field nowadays but still the placements seems to be good actually. With respect to the senior batches, our strength was more and therefore faculty had put more efforts in getting every student placed. But as per my opinion, thereu2019s no thing called 100% placement because not each student get placed, some went to join the family business and some go for higher studies. There were both startups and big MNCs which came to the campus which offered diverse roles to the students. In all, the whole placement scenario was impressive and effective as well.
Infrastructure: Amity is known for its huge and unique infrastructure. The labs are fully equipped with all the required instruments and machines. The classrooms have high quality furniture offer comfortable environment to the students. There is a clinic also for emergency conditions. The quality of food in all cafeterias present inside the campus has good quality certification. There is also big food giants like Domino's, Cafe Coffee Day andDosa Plaza inside the campus.
Faculty: The course structure which is offered by the university is made in accordance for the betterment of the student. One advantage which one would get by studying in this particular university is the foreign language course. Being bilingual adds an extra advantage to your CV and this university provides you that. There is appropriate exposure to the industry experience wherever required. Students are taken to many industrial tours as well.
Other: The most amazing part for every college life is the fest and the enjoyment part. The fest is amazing where students get to enjoy for almost 3 days. Various celebrities also visit meanwhile the fest is going on. The crowd seems very much decent and sophisticated as well. There is a spirts event called Sangathan which happens every year encouraging students to take participation in various sports events.

Why defame Amity? Is it just because it is a private university?
Placements: The college offers placements, but you'll have to work very hard to get the best placement. This year, training was also given by FSSAI, and a training programme FOSTAC was also started. Placements are entirely based on your knowledge and aptitude.
Infrastructure: It is one of the best campuses in India. It is very much vibrant and spacious. There is a perfect amount of greenery. Wi-Fi is open for all. Canteens are in most of the blocks and offer great and affordable food items. The library is the highlight of this campus. It is an amazing and environment-friendly area.
Faculty: 9 out of 10 teachers are extremely dedicated to their jobs. They are helpful in whatever manner they can. Very well qualified, and experienced teachers are appointed. There is a proper channel between teacher and student. It can be done better by making a student union here.
Other: Amity's fest is what every student waits for the entire year. Sports are encouraged here, and the ground is very big.

A perfect college for doing B.Tech, good placement, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The placements from Amity, in this branch are not good for B.Tech students. However, it is good for M.Tech students. M.Tech placement is 100%. For B.Tech there are very less opportunities. The companies like Nestle, Pernod, Healthkart visited this year. Internships offered is good, all students get a good internship opportunity from Amity.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, having lifts in all floors and buildings, proper parking area. For releasing stress, arcade area is also there for playing, games and gym are also present in Amity. Grounds for playing are large enough, and all games are played here
Faculty: The faculty are good at teaching. They are helpful, knowledgeable and qualified in their respective field. Every teacher adopts different method of studying. Industry visits are also held. The course is useful, but sometimes you have to study extra courses.
Other: You can choose food technology, but for doing B.Tech in other branches, it is a much better option. For other B.Tech branches, it provides great opportunities for placements and internship too. The facilities, faculty, and the environment are good. The main point is that there is no ragging inside or outside the campus
