Good placement and all instruments and machines are available.
Placements: About 60% of students got placement and it really depends on their CGPA and interview. Some top recruitment companies in our course are Dr Reddy's Lab, Serum Institute of India, Indian immunologicals limited, Vivo Biotech Lab etc. Many students get internship in various companies like Himalya, Cadbury etc. Lecturer, researcher, food quality inspector are some of the top roles offered in this course.
Infrastructure: All types of labs and all instruments and machines are available. Fully AC campus and hostels are of both type AC and non AC as per your preference. Food quality is good which is available in the mess and our college have other so many food franchises available in the campus. Medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: Most of the teacher are doctorate with outstanding teaching experiences. Course curriculum is too good it provides students knowledge about various skills related to their course. Exams are not very difficult to clear and it depends on the student's preparation .
Other: This course offer good placement based upon marks and the lab quality is also very good. Events and fest are really enjoyable and the campus crowd is really very good and friendly and our college offers various extra curricular activities like Sangathan in which students do drama which we see in theaters. Scholarship is also available for the students who have good marks in their high school.

Lost faith in Amity University because of the unfriendly behaviour of placement heads and teachers.
Placements: To be honest, the college doesn't invite reputed companies to offer placements. We pay 1 lac per semester, and at the time of placements, the CRC head asks us to attend the placement drive even if the company offers very low packages. ATPC placements are still better, but CRC companies are not even situated in commercial areas. They conduct interviews and hire almost 40-100 students for sales. Salary packages offered are only 2-2.5 LPA. Unlike others, Noida campus will not even allow you to join the companies in January. The placement rate is hardly 30-35% of the total students enrolled in that batch. But, the record shows 100% placements. This is done by forcing or manipulating the students to fill a form stating not interested in placements. Some are blacklisted on the grounds of denying the placement offer for companies paying Rs. 5,000 for 6 months or 2-2.75 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.75 LPA. While the highest salary package offered is 6 LPA (only offered in ATPC placement). The average salary package offered is hardly 3 LPA. Companies related to biotech R&D, life sciences, and healthcare are not invited. Companies invited for M.Tech students offer sales profiles that too typical call centres. In the end, no one helps you. To sum up, you are on your own if you pursue graduation/post graduation course in biotechnology/bioinformatics from Amity University.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Labs are good but are present only for the showcase. Half of the time there is a lack of resources or equipment or reagents. You are not allowed to operate some machines. The best way is to join some workshops to get lab training like Helix, Biogenesis. Food served in Amity is good. The one good thing is that there are many food outlets.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are qualified but do not know how to explain. Faculty members are too focused on completing their research, so they will not come to give lectures. It's easy for students to cheat in exams and they use mobile phones to cheat. Teachers are comfortable in dictating notes or providing them. It's more like a spoon feeding. The course is never completed, and you end up doing everything from Youtube or other sources.
Other: The campus crowd is way more than expected and mixed. A lot of events are conducted here. You'll have to miss your classes and get OD (attendance) at times, but students are not given attendance to attend a workshop. At times, OD is also not given for college work. Scholarships are good and provided for people in need. There is no partiality in this. Extracurricular activities are good.

A true review on Amity by its student.
Placements: The placements are average here in Amity. There are various rumours that Amity pays the companies for the placement or Amity makes students sign the undertaking that they are not willingly sitting in the placement, and by doing that, they remove the people having low academics score but again all of this is not cleared yet.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very nice in Amity, only this is the thing which is above average here. The labs are not very well-equipped, the microscopes are either broken, or only 2 or 3 microscopes are available in each lab in working condition. Wi-Fi facility is also not good, and the water from the taps is highly chlorinated.
Faculty: The faculty members are below average. If you are willing to join Amity, then you should set the bar of faculty members very low, but there are some faculty members who are also very good. Some are way below average. The course is bad. There are IT subjects in our course so that we could sit for the placements in IT.
Other: The events are crappy and the fests are bad. The campus crowd is okay. The connectivity is okay. Amity also offers a scholarship to the students. The extracurricular activities are promoted but this should not make your attendance below 70, or you won't be able to sit for exams.

Amity was a life time experience for me.
Placements: The placements for biotechnology are not that good, you can either expect the placements to be in sales or marketing departments. Not enough RnD companies came this year. The placements were good in the previous year, and almost 90% of the students were placed by the end of the season.
Infrastructure: I loved the infrastructure whether it is a classroom, canteens, labs, etc. The major attractive portion of Amity is the H-block. The hostels are very nice and spacious. Other than that, the other beauty that attracts the students is the sports complex. The swimming pool is an Olympic size pool.
Faculty: Biotechnology faculty are very good. They are helpful in academics. They are highly qualified and are very knowledgeable. I would prefer B.Tech biotechnology than integrated courses. Otherwise, the teaching part is very good and satisfactory. The only problem that lies with Amity is the attendance part. You cannot miss the classes. Attendance has always been a major part of the college life.
Other: Amity is a life. The events and fests are happening especially, the youth fest, the biggest and the happiest memories of college life. The campus crowd is so lively and so happening.

Dissatisfied, and in 2018, the placement of biotechnology is the worst.
Placements: You won't find any core company for the placements, and no early joining for the companies. The courses are like a fast track. The thing is I still unplaced with 8 CGPA. The internship rules are just craps, who provide the internship for two months. In a single word, don't come here, and find something better. They produce sheep and nothing else.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure on the campus is good, but the labs are the only showcase. The only instrument is working out there is the pH meter. When you visit the lab, the faculty members will say that we don't have resources, so sit and do your work. The labs aren't that amazing that is just a tooth of an elephant, and the rest is of God.
Faculty: Some faculty members are knowledgeable, and they take an interest in the curriculum, but some new faculty members are small minded that they think AMITians don't study and that's why they skip the classes. In AIB, the faculty members from the IT departments were good. They put efforts on the students, but the others are throwing PJs in the class.
Other: The events, fests, etc., are the only that Amity has got.

Good College. If you have the zeal to study and have the ability to focus, then it's for you.
Placements: The placement trend now has changed, but still if you do not have a Good CGPA, it's hard to earn a job. In that case, you may go for a PhD, which is anyway, important in the field of Biotechnology. ATPC is trying to bring more and more companies, offering a decent package, every year.
Infrastructure: Here, Amity Institute of Biotechnology is having quality infrastructure, however, some teachers may be annoying, just some of them, like 1 or 2, who want you to do everything according to them. The block building J3 is well maintained and clean. Classrooms and seminar halls are also good and the whole block is air conditioned, however, sometimes, it gets hot. Well equipped labs with modern equipments. WiFi works okay okay. Gym is there, you have to pay for it, not very expensive but well equipped. No mess system.....you have to pay on a daily basis. Sports and Games are also there, but I would suggest to stay away from them and focus on the studies. Medical services are there but I'm not sure about how good are they. Overall, the campus is well maintained. And don't mind the dogs, they do nothing. They are calm.
Faculty: Faculty is good. Some faculties are a bit annoying as mentioned earlier. I don't know, why are they kept there. Otherwise, if you are a good and attentive student, the faculty is also available outside class to help you out, even with the basics. Most faculties are doctorates so knowledge is abundant. Just the thing is some are ready to impart it without partiality and some are discriminating, yes that's the right word. These some are the same annoying ones. You also have a buddy mentor(senior) and a mentor other than you PL(program leader) and APO(Program officer). Course curriculum is good. If you have the habit of learning and repeating the same at home the same day, then no problem. Yes, the timings are strict 8 hours a day. Exam datesheet is a heart attack to everyone. B.Sc people get 5-8 days gap and B.Tech+M.Tech have papers continuously each day if they are lucky. Lucky because, sometimes, same day two papers also take place. Some subjects are not needed, but still you have to study them.
Other: Attendance-75% is Mandatory Attendance has marks- 95-100% 5 marks 90-95%- 4 marks 85-90% 3 marks and so on and one gets debarred below 75% and mind my words, attendance is a big issue Otherwise, college is very good, and don't compare this with the bad name associated with Amity. That bad name is because of one department and that. Is the case with every university. I don't understand why Amity has been so infamous. And never come here if you think that you'll pass without studying, like some idiots say. No, I don't know about other departments but here in AIB, it's not the case. You'll not even get a degree below 6CGPA and it's not easy to get a CGPA above 8.4 in AIB

Very good infrastructure and facilities. Less exposure and it's all about money.
Placements: The placement was good. Approximately 80% of the students were placed. The salary ranged from 2.5 to 6 lakhs per annum. Many companies from all sectors were there on the campus for placements. Roles like researchers, sales executives, etc. were offered. A very few internships were provided by the college.
Infrastructure: infrastructure is very good with all the modern amenities. The college has well equipped labs, library and sports facilities. Classrooms have comfortable chairs and all the necessary things required. Food is paid and the quality depends on your ability to spend and all major fast food chains are present inside the campus only for students.
Faculty: The faculty is a mixture of both good and bad. Some teachers have very good teaching skills and knowledge but some are just spoiling the future of students. The faculty to student ratio is around 40:1. Industry exposure is according to the requirement of the course but still, it is very less in Amity.

Other: Faculty members in our college are very good and dedicated. The lectures are interactive and placements are average. The campus provides good infrastructure. You can't miss many classes because the attendance policy is pretty strict. The college hosts a youth fest and a sports event every year which are worth it. The college canteens provide a lot of options. There are many opportunities for extra-curricular activities.
