Amity University, saviour of masses.

Placements: None of the students were placed in our batch (2017-19 M.A. political Sc) as the placement committee were unable to approach political firms for us. Instead they approached NGO's, in which None of us was interested. Amity University is known for its campus only. Even some of my friends from M.A. got placed but they were unsatisfied. They were offered only Rs.20,000/- per month only. As far as internships are concerned students got them at their own merits. Amity University was not involved in the process. They only provided us with letter of recommendation. To conclude, I would say Amity Institute of Social Sciences, Noida has failed to provide us employment. Overall experience is 6.5/10.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is 10/10 of Amity University, Noida. Facilities like Wi-Fi, Labs and Classrooms are A+. But the only problem is unavailability of good books in library. The infrastructure of library is the only good thing. Some of my friends were in Hostel but as soon as the semester ended they all withdrew from it. This was because they were not allowed to go out of the campus without GATE passes. Mess is 10/10. Quality of Food is absolutely good. Healthy for everyday consuming. Medical Facilities is not as good as other things. Sports is 9/10. Annual sports festival called SANGATHAN is one of the fun time of the year.

Faculty: The teachers were absolutely qualified. All are from recognised universities and they posses doctorate degrees. The quality of teaching varies because professors have to engage in clerical work as their is shortage of the staff. Hence, the quality of teaching gets affected. Yes, the course curriculum is effective if a student is willing to learn. The best thing about Amity University is that it prepares an individual for competitive corporate world. Hence, the best advantage of being an Amitian.

Other: I chose this course because I didn't get through Delhi University M.A. entrance exam. This is the most honest justification I can provide with. Majority of M.A. students come to Amity because they fail to get admissions in any reputed university. The only thing that affect the course of the low-key Politics that go on between the Teaching staff. Teachers are overloaded with work and this pressure creates fuss between them. Events, Fest, Campus Crowd, Connectivity, Campus Surroundings and Extracurricular Activities are 10/10. But Scholarships are not given. As far as I know.
