Amity University, Noida: A tour of the English department.
Placements: The companies visiting depend on the department and the support provided by the teachers. The roles that are offered are mainly of Content Writers, Editor, and Marketing. The placements also depend on whether or not the resume of the person is up to the mark and the teachers also help in building our resume.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and all the amenities are provided, maintenance is also done on a timely basis. The hostel is well-equipped with a bed, cupboard and a table along with a fan and proper lighting. Cleaning staff comes daily for dusting and bathrooms are cleaned on a regular basis as well.
Faculty: The teachers are good and supportive and the curriculum offered is also well rounded and very informative. The sessions are very interactive and the teachers pay attention to the students. All the doubts are cleared and the question raised by the students are properly addressed by the teachers.
Other: Participating in events and taking up administrative roles in the college is very important for your overall development.

Good English curriculum and best Infrastructure facilities.
Placements: The placements offered in our course were not good in our batch. As the COVID just started and last 2-3 months classes were held online. So, before that one test was conducted for the Amity Global School, everyone gave that test, there was no percent criteria. After that, no companies came for our course. Placements were somewhat average before COVID.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good. There is every facility available a student needs. Wi-Fi had good connectivity. Classrooms are equipped with proper seating and air-conditioning system. Not many books are not available for English department in the library. There is a separate building for hospital. Hostel is nice too, mess and canteen are different for all the blocks. Fests are held too.
Faculty: Some of the teachers were nice and helpful some were not. Teachers used to help with the external resources too that helped us in clearing the exams. The mentors were assigned for the research papers. The course curriculum is relevant for the students who wish to pursue their further education. The semesters exams were not that difficult, expect the poetry papers.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in Literature. The best thing about the course is that it makes us a good observer. We get to know the different types of culture through literature. The syllabus is fine. Extra-curricular activities were there, there were different societies.

Best college for quality education and exploration.
Placements: Placements were pretty good, many students from our department got placed in content writing jobs. Apart from it, students got job in HR field and public relation. Some even got placed in news channel jobs and channel forecasting. It was a great experience studying here.
Infrastructure: Facilities were excellent, we didn't have to face any trouble. Any complain regarding anything was overcome then and there. We enjoyed to our the fullest and have great respect for our teachers and professors. We respected our teachers a lot as they were worth it and we're of very friendly nature.
Faculty: Curriculum was at its best. Many opportunities to explore in various fields. There were manifold events organised at various level both university and state level. Students from different universities from all over the world were invited as volunteers and competitors.
Other: All types of students are here from all over India.

I am satisfied because of the good faculty and good infrastructure.
Placements: Placements in our college are average. The salary offered ranges between Rs. 20,000-30,000 per month. Students have to get an internship on their own, and our college does not provide it. Companies like Inshorts and companies of publishing house visit our college for placements.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in the department are very good. Facilities like Wi-Fi, classrooms and library are very good. Facilities available in the hostel are also good. Food served to the students is good, and the canteen is hygienic. Our college organises sports event named Sanghthan every year in which sports-related competitions are organised.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, friendly, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. English has become a global language, and one cannot imagine their life without it. English as literature is a culmination of all humanitarian subjects.

Absolutely satisfied with everything in my college.
Placements: I have given 3 interviews and the companies were reputed. College helped a lot in placement. Placements couldn't happen because of COVID-19. But before that crisis, college helped a lot. They gave us a special workshop to build a good resume and training session for interview preparation. Throughout the years the faculty prepares us to build confidence for the interviews and also for the career oriented goals. They alwaysask for our interests and find the suitable opportunity for us.
Infrastructure: The college used to provide each and every comfort to the students, including all the curricular activities. Food, sports, tournaments, dramatics, workshops, everything was present in the college. The campus is beautiful, hostels were amazing.
Faculty: Faculty is very helpful, throughout my 5 years they helped me in everything. They are friendly and also treat students like their own children. They give amazing counselling also. The faculty members were experienced and intellectual.

Placements: College infrastructure is good. College provide placement and average salary is 5-5 Lacs per annum. Infrastructure is very good, ambiance of the college is good, teachers are very helpful. The college provide us a different life and help us fulfilling our dreams.
Infrastructure: Campus has very good ambiance, good classrooms and library is centralised air conditioned. Library is fully equipped with computers and a lot of books for all the courses to help students in different ways and classrooms are also very neat and clean. Washrooms are also very tidy.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, they are very qualified, they try and help each and every student in every way possible. They try to understand problems of students and help them succeed in life and teach in very innovative ways and help in overall development of the child.
Other: The course provide great knowledge about the english literature.

A review of Amity University.
Placements: I was placed in The Princeton Review as a verbal trainer. The Princeton Review is a well-reputed company. I have completed four years in this field, and my current salary package is 12 LPA. Amity helped me in providing a concrete shape to my career. The credit goes to Amity, and I owe my success to it.
Infrastructure: Amity campus is huge. It has got different departments, and the classrooms are air-conditioned. The campus has a ground for outdoor sports. The library is rich with books, and the campus is safe for all the students. There is a food court, and the food that is served in the cafeteria is delectable and hygienic.
Faculty: Faculty members of Amity are knowledgeable. Most of them are PhD holders. They are always keen to help students in every way possible. They are subject experts and are good at directing the students. They gauge the performance of every student and share feedback on a regular basis.

Dissatisfied because no placements for English lit students.
Placements: There is no specific placement cell for english courses, the teachers (if) will bring the companies through their personal contacts so good packages and nice companies are hard to find but you have to ask the teachersspecifically for placement. Most probably you have to find on your own but nevertheless teachers are willing to help. Just keep in mind there is no official placement cell such as they provide for MBA courses.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, classrooms are adequately equipped and fully air conditioned. Though for English department there were lack of classes sometimes, good news is the department has shifted to a new block that is block K so I hope there won't be anymore problem of classes clashing with each other.
Faculty: For me, faculty experience was mixed that is some teachers are knowledgeable and helpful, and some were underwhelming and not helpful at all. Our curriculum was good, apart from literature we had many courses which would definitely be beneficial for us professionally.
Other: Crowd is good and so is the campus.
