Admissions for the Ph.D. programme are entrance-based. Amity University, Raipur conducts an entrance test. However, candidates who have cleared an All India National Level Competitive Examination like NET of UGC / CSIR / ICAR (ASRB) / GPAT / ICMR / GATE / DST - INSPIRE within the last 2 years from the time of applying for Ph.D. at Amity, shall be exempted from the written test of the Ph.D. The selection process is on the basis of the documents uploaded by them with the application form. CMAT 2025 was on January 25, 2025, almost four months ahead of previous years. The CMAT exam is usually held in March-April, but in 2023 and 2024, it was held in May. The last time CMAT was held in January was in 2019.
