Tripura University Highlights 2025
Tripura University started as a Post-Graduate Wing of Calcutta University in 1976 and then became a full-fledged state university in 1987. In 2007, Tripura University became the Central University. At present, there are forty-four departments, two faculties, and four Centres of Study along with the four departments under the Directorate of Distance Education. Central University of Tripura is accredited with B++ Grade by NAAC. Tripura Central University offers 114 programmes. Out of the total courses provided by the university, 41 are PhD courses, 60 are PG courses, 7 are UG courses, and 6 are Postgraduate Diploma courses. These courses are provided across the Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and various other streams.

Aspirants of Tripura University must appear for CUET as well as meet CUET scores. The final admission to Tirupati University os based on the counselling rounds which is conducted on the basis of performance of candidates in CUET UG exam. CUET PG 2025 admit card for the candidates whose exam was held from March 13, 2025 to March 20, 2025, released on March 9, 2025 and the exam from March 21, 2025 to March 25, 2025 released on March 16, 2025.
CUET PG 2025 admit cards were released in a phase-wise manner. NTA is not releasing the CUET PG admit card 2025 for all the days together. At first, the CUET PG 2025 admit card phase 1 was released. For the candidates whose examination will be held in the starting period of the mentioned CUET PG 2025 exam dates, their hall ticket will be released in the first phase.

Tripura University offers BEd courses at the PG level. In order to get admission to BEd course the candidate should meet the last educational qualification. Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree &/or in the Master’s Degree in Science/Social Sciences/ Humanities, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science & Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme
