Candidates can apply for Annamalai University admission in online mode through its official website. Interested applicants also need to pay a course-specific application fee to conclude the application process. The university is ranked among the top three Universities in India for best distance education providers. The University has educated over 4.5 Lacs students in the past and continues to teach over thousands more. Hence, it is a good university for candidates wanting to study a distance course.

The online/distance degrees offered by the Centre for Distance and Online Education at Annamalai University are valid. Previously, the University Grants Commission (UGC) did not approve its courses starting from 2015. However, Annamalai University DDE  received relief from the Madras High Court in an order dated 21.01.2023. Subsequently, following a reassessment by the UGC, Annamalai DDE achieved a qualifying score of 3.38, which led to extending the validity of its programmes until 2027.

Annamalai University DDE offers courses at UG, PG, Diploma and certificate levels in distance education mode. The on-campus courses at Annamalai University are duly approved/accredited by apex bodies like NAAC  (Grade A+), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), etc. Some of the popular courses at Annamalai DDE includes MA, BFA and MBA. The fees for UG courses at Annamalai University Tamil Nadu is very less comparatively to other colleges it is around INR 3,000-10,000 per year for courses like BFA and BSc and they are similar but a little high for B.Tech courses. Annamalai University DDE offers BFA at the undergraduate (UG) level and MA, MBA, MCom, MFA, MSc, and MSW courses at the Postgraduate (PG) level. Candidates who are interested in getting admission to UG or PG courses offered by this university can apply by visiting the official website. Students can apply for UG admission program-level courses if they have a 10+2 degree in the relevant subject from a university that is known to be good. Admission to courses in UG programs is based only on merit. For PG-level courses, applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a university that is recognized.
