The first and last rounds closed at ranks of 13297 and 16611, respectively. The second most challenging BTech specialisation, with a lenient last-round closing rank of 20916, was Electronics and Communication Engineering. The first round cutoff rank for the same was 17840.

For the OBC category students, the JEE Main last round closing ranks varied between 22398 and 81973 for BTech admission. The lowest cutoff ranks were 4946 and 22398 in the first and last rounds, respectively, for CSE admission. The lower cutoff ranks indicate high competition and vice versa. Besides CSE, candidates can also consider Electronics and Communication Engineering, with lenient JEE Main cutoff ranks of 6667 and 28214 in the first and last rounds, respectively.

No, students cannot get direct admission in IITDM Jabalpur. Admission is are granted based on entrance scores. The college accepts JEE Mains and GATE scores to its BTech and M.Tech programmes, followed by cousnelling. For BDes and MDes, entrance exams such as UCEED and CEED are considered.
