Candidates need to fill the UCEED Application Form to participate in the UCEED entrance exam conducted by IIT Bombay. Candidates aspiring to pursue a B.Des programme from IITs must read the eligibility criteria and must apply for the same.
IIT Bombay will open the UCEED 2027 Registration form from October 01, 2026. All the candidates who wish to pursue B.Des from IITs must fill the application form. The applIcation forms will be available online at uceed.iitb.ac.in. Candidates applying must read the UCEED Eligibility criteria first. Candidates must provide the correct information regarding the qualifying exam and category, and upload the VALID documents in the required formats in UCEED registration form. If the Registration forms are incomplete in any way, they will be rejected, and the registration will be considered invalid.
The registration fee will be INR 4000 for Indian nationals and INR 2,000 for Indian Female candidates and SC/ST/PwD candidates. UCEED Application form can be filled with regular and late fees.

- To avail of scribe benefit, the candidate should select the SCRIBE option in the UCEED online registration form and upload a copy of the PwD certificate (Appendices 5 – 9) at the time of online registration for UCEED 2027.
- The eligible candidates will receive a compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour in Part A and 20 minutes for Part B. The compensatory time for Part A cannot be transferred to Part B and vice versa.
- If a PwD candidate wants to avail compensatory time (20 minutes per hour) and/or request the assistance of a scribe, the same request should be mentioned while filling out the registration form. PwD certificate is to be uploaded along with such requests, which will be made in the given format (Appendix 11).

UCEED is one of the accepting exams for admission in BDes programme of MIT-WPU, Pune. However, it is not mandatory. Aspirants with scores in NATA, NIFT Entrance Exam or NID or MIT-WPU CET can also get admission in BDes provided they also pass the selection rounds.

Both institutions offer the BDes course but with completely different admission processes. IIT Indore accepts admission based on the UCEED entrance exam, while BITS Pilani considers the NID Entrance exam/ BITSAT exam result.
