Parul University Hosted “Chrysalis Dreams 2026," for Final-year Fine Arts Students to Showcase their Creative Artwork
“Chrysalis Dream 2026,” an annual degree show organised by Parul Institute of Fine Arts, created an unforgettable experience by showcasing years of artistic development, featuring the journey of final year Bachelor of Visual Arts students. The artworks created by students from the Department of Painting and Sculpture reflected their own individual experience and personal story.
The exhibition displayed artworks created by several emerging artists such as Htein Lin, Vaishnavi Sahu, Prutha Morsania, Sania Memon, Anushka Chavan, Kirti Gautam, Gauri Chauhan, Devyanshi Chauhan, Mansi Rajpurohit, Sahil Parmar, and Syed Zaheen Abid, among others. Addressing various issues like identity, memories, spaces, emotions, and human experiences, each piece of painting and sculpture had its own voice as an artist. Each piece was developed through hard work in studios and creative thinking around modern art theories. This made it possible for students to create amazing artworks based on their ideas.
Expressing her views about the event, Parul Patel, Vice-President & Chairperson (Student Affairs & Administration) at Parul University, commented that, "Apart from highlighting their art skills, these paintings and sculptures exhibit the bravery of our students who have dared to think, ask questions, and develop themselves. The story depicted in every artwork is the result of their life experience."
Events like “Chrysalis Dreams 2026” showcase how Parul University has continuously given its students a platform where they can exhibit their creative side and get exposed to the outside world by translating classroom education into practical experience. By promoting such events, Parul University has always supported budding artists in developing their personalities and moving forward in the art world.
