With a motto to create an environment that bridges the gap between academia and industry, Parul University hosted PRAXIS 2026 (Parul University’s Revolutionising Academia-Industry Xchange for Innovation & Skills), a landmark symposium centred on the theme "Integrating Industrial Practices into the Academic Ecosystem."

With a motto to create an environment that bridges the gap between academia and industry, Parul University hosted PRAXIS 2026 (Parul University’s Revolutionising Academia-Industry Xchange for Innovation & Skills), a landmark symposium centred on the theme "Integrating Industrial Practices into the Academic Ecosystem." The Talent & Career Development Cell partnered with Executive Development Programs to organise the event, which demonstrated the university's dedication to improving student job prospects.

Parul University maintains its position as the leading institution for connecting academic research with practical industrial applications through initiatives which receive guidance from the lasting vision and active leadership of the industry experts.

The symposium hosted more than 40 senior industry leaders which includes CEOs, CTOs, Co-Founders, Vice Presidents, Senior Directors and domain experts from leading organisations like Automation Anywhere Pvt Ltd, eInfochips, Netweb Software, Rishabh Software, PMC, S&P Global, Matrix Comsec, Tntra, Alois Solutions, Barodaweb Pvt Ltd, Helios Solutions, Phonon Communications Pvt Ltd, AV Devs Solutions Pvt Ltd, Infineon Technologies, BoTree Technologies, Dhyey Consulting Services Pvt Ltd, ElectroMech Cloudtech Pvt Ltd, Svaapta IT-Ally Solutions Pvt. Ltd., ITCG Solutions Private Limited, Technoride Solutions Pvt Ltd, CZAR Metric Systems Pvt. Ltd., Marwiz and several other companies. The event served as a platform for meaningful dialogue to strengthen collaboration between academic institutions and industry.

Dr K. N. Madhusoodanan, Provost, emphasised the point about universities needing stronger connections with businesses when he showed his research work to the audience. Dr Kunjal Sinha, Pro Vice Chancellor, presented the university's vision to create an enduring partnership between industry and academia, which will drive the institution toward future development.

Dr Saurabh Shah, Director, Talent & Career Development, invited industry experts to share their knowledge about creating an AI-powered system that would support the goals of the INDIAai Mission. The team developed university programs which would include new technologies and necessary future employment skills while they established centres of excellence and the Professors of Practice program.

Dr Amitabha Gupta, the Director of Executive Development Programs, conducted discussions which identified the fundamental competencies required by professionals to achieve success in the fast-evolving global business environment.

The industry experts at the symposium presented valuable discussions which demonstrated how different fields of study should work together with actual business solutions and critical thinking skills to solve problems and study their work environment. The discussions required participants to consider engineering as an entire field that needed assessment beyond its programming and technical competencies.

Dr Kunjal Sinha, the Pro Vice Chancellor, brought additional importance to the event when she stated, “At Parul University, we envision education as a dynamic collaboration between academia and industry. The implementation of PRAXIS 2026 demonstrates our dedication to developing future-ready professionals through the integration of practical experience, innovative methods, and interdisciplinary research into our educational system.

The combined readiness of business executives to work together with academic institutions will create a fundamental change that develops a workforce capable of international competitiveness. The PRAXIS 2026 event demonstrates Parul University's dedication to developing new ideas and enhancing student employment skills through authentic collaboration with businesses.
