BCA in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning - Batch of 2028
Offered by St. Claret College, Autonomous
4.8
4Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
One of the best colleges I know.
Placements: St. Claret College has a structured placement system. Around 60- 70% of students get placed each year. For BCA students, placements may vary depending on skills and performance. The highest package offered is around 9 LPA. The lowest package ranges between 2–3 LPA. The average package is around 3–4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, and TCS. Around 60 percent or more students secure internships during their course. They often in similar companies or startups. Common roles are Software Developer, Web Developer, Data Analyst, IT Support Executive, and Digital Marketing Executive.
Infrastructure: College provides good infrastructure. It includes Wi-Fi, computer labs, smart classrooms, and a well-stocked library. Hostel facilities are decent along with basic amenities. Food in the mess and canteen are satisfactory. Medical facilities, sports, and games are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum is relevant, but students need extra skill-building to become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is usually high.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in IT and career opportunities. The best part is the practical learning and supportive faculty. It would be better with more advanced training and internships. Campus life is lively with fests, good crowd, decent connectivity, and extracurricular activities.

BCA in Cloud Computing - Batch of 2027
Offered by SJES College of Management Studies
4.2

Dissatisfied with the infrastructure, but the faculty is good.
Placements: I am currently studying in that college, they're conducting interviews for the final years, that's our seniors. Placement-wise, they're not so good, just industry relevance is taught. But the more internships there are, the more internship offers we get. Even though I completed one internship, and now most of the students in our class are doing internships referred by the college.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, a computer lab, and a good library. They make sure all the systems work in the computer lab. Students can also check out books for more information, rather than only academic books in library. Wi-Fi is too slow sometimes, and the bandwidth is also low. We can access Wi-Fi only in the lab, it doesn't connect in the classrooms.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is very good. The curriculum is relevant, and students will be industry-ready if they try. They're difficult, and the pass percentage is above 80% always. Examinations are conducted strictly.

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) - Batch of 2025

The college is average, with some good and some bad aspects.
Placements: Placement is average. The average package offered is 3 LPA. The recruiting companies are good. They offer a good number of students a job. The lowest package the companies offer is around 2 LPA, which is not bad for freshers. 80% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: The college is very good. There are many events, games, and many more fun functions every month, which are very good and memorable for student life and the future. The infrastructure is very good, but Wi-Fi is missing, and the lab, class, and library are all average.
Faculty: I am disappointed by the behaviour of the faculty and the procedure of "no dues." Paying fees was difficult at that time. Please try to improve the process of paying fees during "no dues." The exam is quite average in difficulty, and the pass percentage is 80%, which is not bad.
Other: The course offers BCA with cloud computing, which I wanted. I wish to improve the fact that the lab computers should be fixed, and the events are very good.

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) - Batch of 2026
Offered by St. Joseph’s University

Good exposure and average placements.
Placements: Only 33 students from our batch are placed till now for techno roles, and also, the opportunities for IT roles are very limited, but for other courses, there are various opportunities. A few known and unknown companies came. For internships, they don't guide, students have to manage by themselves. There is no clear data on previous placements.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-maintained with good Wi-Fi, labs are properly equipped, and the library is pretty good with a huge space. I don't stay in hostel but I think it's pretty good. Food in the canteen is okay. They also provide mid-day meals to needy people. Medical support is available, sports are available, but not for all.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, qualified, and also helpful but at the same time they are repetitive in every semester. Teaching quality is decent. The curriculum or the syllabus is quite good according to the market but still needs improvement. Exams are quite good and the pass percentage is 40 percent.
Other: I chose this course mainly for the exposure and opportunities available in Bangalore. They should include more specialized teachers and more practical guides. Events and all are top-notch.

BCA in Data Science - Batch of 2027
Offered by Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies (CAIAS)
4.2
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
I don't know much about placement but it is a good college with good teaching and good staff.
Placements: 70 percent of students got placed I guess and it depends on the skills the students possess. The minimum package is around 2 LPA-3 LPA and the highest package is around 9 LPA. I guess I don't know properly and the college has many recruiting companies and internships such as Infosys, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good it's a huge college. It has one of the largest libraries which is really big and good. They have Wi-Fi all over the campus. The college has well-maintained labs, good classrooms, a modern canteen which is also huge and many types of food are available.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive when it comes to studying. They help a lot and they're very friendly. Only depending on the course might not make you industry-ready but the teachers try their best to make you industry-ready. The passing marks of one subject is around 28-30 marks.
Other: The events done here is really good because it's Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies. Everything about the college is good except for its strict rules.

Absolutely do not join, the teachers will make you rethink why you joined here.
Placements: Around 20% of students have been placed, but the rest are trying to find on their own. The lowest package, probably 2 LPA, the average would be 3-4 LPA, and the highest 6-7 LPA. Cloud architect, devops etc., roles are offered. Accenture is the top recruiter. I would say almost everyone got an internship because it was not paid.
Infrastructure: The labs available by the college are good, you can use the labs up to 8:30. The Wi-Fi is available, but no one has it, as you have to go and request Wi-Fi access from the department, which is then provided. Classrooms are good. The only thing is I doubt whether the cleaning staff cleans, I find it littered every time.
Faculty: Teachers might have a good degree, but they lack in explaining concepts. I do think so, but all are mixed up, so we should find out how to connect the dots. The course is relevant, it does but after a point, the students should figure it out on their own.
