OJEE result 2024 will likely be announced in the second week of June 2024. The OJEE 2024 exam was conducted from May 6, 2024, to May 10, 2024. Special OJEE results 2024 will also be announced online in July 2024 tentatively. To check OJEE result, candidates will be required to log in with their application number and password on the official website of OJEE. Moreover, OJEE Cell will also release a merit list for OJEE 2024 mentioning overall scores and ranks obtained by the qualified candidates. OJEE rank card will be available online which will mention the overall scores and merit ranks. Students can request re-totalling by paying INR 500 through the demand draft within seven days from the date of announcement of the OJEE result.

OJEE result is announced at the ojee.nic.in or odishajee.com. Candidates who appear for the test can download their scorecards from the official website by using their login credentials. The OJEE result download link is made alive after the exam on the official website in about two to three weeks of the exam. Given below is the process to follow for downloading the OJEE result.

Q:   Are OJEE mock test scores recorded or used for admission?

A:

OJEE mock test scores will not be recorded or used for admission purposes. Mock tests are designed for practice and preparation only and do not have any bearing on the actual OJEE exam scores or admission to educational institutions. OJEE mock tests will help the candidates prepare for the actual OJEE exam as they help the candidates in understanding the OJEE exam pattern, type of questions and time limits. No, IIM Sambalpur does not accept OJEE test scores for admission. If you want to get admission to the IIM, you will have to appear in the CAT exam. With the score of the OJEE test, you can get admission in about 40 management colleges in Odisha. You can get admission to the following top management colleges such as:

Candidates should take the following formula into consideration when calculating the OJEE score:

Q:   Would I get admission on the basis of OJEE results directly?

A:

No, after the OJEE exam is cleared, candidates will have to go through for further selection procedure conducted by the participating institutes. The OJEE scores are accepted in over 40 management colleges in Odisha for admission. Candidates need to meet the cutoff criteria of the participating institutes to take admissions. The admission process includes Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). Other factors such as academic record, work experience, etc. are also considered for admission to various institutes which accept OJEE scores. OJEE score is only the first parameter on which the candidates are shortlisted for admission. The institutes first shortlist the candidates for WAT, GD and PI on the basis of their OJEE scores, marks obtained in Class 10, 12 and Graduation. For the final selection, the institutes take OJEE scores, performance in GD/PI, WAT, Class 10 and Class 12 marks, marks obtained in graduation, work experience, academic diversity and gender diversity.

 

Q:   Will OJEE scores be accepted for Odisha NEET Counselling?

A:

No, admissions to medical, dental, AYUSH and allied courses in Odisha are done on the basis of NEET scores only. Scores of OJEE or the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) will not be considered for medical or allied course admission. Hence, candidates seeking admission to medical and allied courses in the state of Odisha must have appeared, or planning to appear for NEET and qualify for the exam as well. Admission to Odisha NEET counselling will be done for 85 per cent state quota seats and is conducted by OJEE Counselling Committee.

 

Retotalling and Rechecking of OJEE Result 2024

In case, candidates find any discrepancy in their result for OJEE 2024, they can get it reviewed by requesting OJEE Cell. For OJEE result rechecking, candidates will need to pay INR 500 as a fee. Candidates need to pay the fee in the form of a Demand Draft, drawn in favour of OJEE-2024. It needs to be drawn from any nationalised bank, payable at Bhubaneswar and should reach the above address (within seven calendar days) as mentioned above.

Note: OJEE Committee will only review the OJEE result 2024, they will not re-evaluate the answer sheets of candidates.

Q:   How can I calculate OJEE scores?

A:

OJEE score is determined on the basis of correct answers marked by aspirants in the OJEE exam. For each correct answer, candidates are awarded four marks. For an incorrect answer, one mark is deducted from the candidates' total score. This means that for four incorrect answers, four marks are deducted from the total score. And for four correct answers, 16 marks will be added to the score. The raw score of candidates is scaled with reference to the total number of candidates appearing in the exam. Based on the OJEE score of candidates they will be offered admission to the management institutions compared to others who have appeared in the test.

Candidates should take the following formula into consideration when calculating the OJEE score:

100 (Number of candidates in the 'group' with aggregate less than the candidates)/Total number of candidates in the 'group'

 

Q:   Which are the list of documents required for admission to institutes through OJEE exam?

A:

Candidates who match the OJEE cutoff criteria at an institute which accepts OJEE score will be invited to appear for the further selection process which includes Group Discussion, Written Ability Test and Personal Interview . If the candidates are shortlisted after the counselling process, he/she will be required to carry a set of documents for the admission process. Candidates are advised to keep original documents handy as the college authorities require the same at the time of admission. The original and photocopy of documents that candidates need to possess at the time of admission through OJEE scores are:

  1. Copies of class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
  2. Copy of Graduation mark sheet 
  3. Birth certificate
  4. OJEE scorecard
  5. OJEE application form 
  6. OJEE admit card
  7. Residence proof
  8. Photo ID
  9. Copies of passport size photographs
  10. Caste Certificate (if applicable)
