Yes, entrance exam is required for admission in BITS Pilani. To get admission, students must fulfil the eligibility. The final selection is based on the academic score of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam. However, national level exams are considered depending on the course. The college accepts BITSAT, BAAT, BITS HD Online Test, GATE, CAT, etc. for admission.

The hostel fee per semester for the academic year 2026 is INR 36,000 for on-campus students. If you register for the summer term, an additional amount of 18,000 will be charged. 

Yes, BITS Pilani offers direct admission to Integrated First Degree and Higher Degree courses across the streams of Science, Technology, Pharmacy, Management and Humanities. If a candidate is a central/ state board topper, BITS Pilani offers direct admission to the specialisation of his choice, irrespective of their BITSAT score. BITS Pilani admission to most of the courses is based on candidates' performance in the course-specific entrance test. Apart from the entrance test scores, students are also required to fulfil the minimum eligibility requirement set by the institute. 

The eligibility criteria for MBA admission in BITS Pilani does not specify minimum percentage of marks in Class 12. Students must have studied and passed in Mathematics or Statistics at the high school or higher level.
