BITS Pilani provides a wide range of scholarships, fellowships and financial assistance to deserving candidates. As per the official website, 20% of the students received some kind of scholarship. From 2026 onward, the institute has introduced a new scholarship scheme called 'Tuition-blind admissions for Top 500 BITSAT rankers'. Under this scheme, candidates with an annual family income of up to INR 20 lakh will receive a full tuition fee waiver for the complete duration of the course, i.e. four years. To be eligible for this scholarship, candidates must maintain a minimum CGPA of 7.5 in their respective campuses.
BITS Pilani merit or merit-cum-need awards:
For BITS Pilani First Degree courses, students will get semester tuition fee waivers of 10 to 100% in the form of merit- or merit-cum need based scholarships. About 25% of students admitted to FD programmes get the scholarship every year. For more details, refer to the table below:

Scholarship policy for first-degree students admitted through 2+2 Dual Degree programmes with foreign Universities:
The above two scholarships are also available for students admitted to dual degree courses (2+2) with foreign universities. This is valid only for the first two years and depends on candidates' overall performance in BITSAT. For the next two years, students can avail the scholarship benefits from the foreign universities as per the eligibility requirnment as mentioned in the respective admission brochure of the University.
