Best college in Barasat.
Placements: Students get fair internships and placements after completing their course. HODs help students get placements. The lowest and highest offered packages are 17 LPA and 50 LPA, respectively. Amazon, TCS, Infosys, NVIDIA, IBM, etc. are the top recruiters here. Around 80–90% of students from my course get placed every year. AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Robotics Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Cyber Security Engineers, and many more are the top career paths for graduates.
Infrastructure: We have modern classrooms with smart boards, projectors, modern computer labs, and well equipped laboratories. We have high speed Wi-Fi, a free library to access any book, and digital resources. It also provides psychologists to take care of our mental health, playground facilities, and a ragging-free campus.
Faculty: There are expert professors in CS, AI, ML, and DSA. Professors are very helpful. Faculty members are always available to guide students. Class tests are conducted for practice, and assignments are given to improve analytical skills. Final theory papers and practical exams are conducted fairly. All students pass with good grades with the help of teaching faculty.
Other: The college provides delicious canteen food with versatile preferences. Campus hygiene is maintained, and yoga classes are available for meditation. AC classrooms are provided. The roads leading to the university from the highway should be improved during rainy seasons.

Excellent infrastructure and supportive faculty. Affordable education with a strong career focus.
Placements: Placements are unarguably low compared to other universities. It's recommended that you be capable enough to land a job by yourself. The highest package I've observed is 10LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Tata, and also IBM. They do provide opportunities for studying abroad.
Infrastructure: It's top-notch, unlike many known top universities and colleges. The environment itself is clean and gives a fresh and modern vibe as well. Equipment is in top-notch condition, and all the ACs work. Classrooms are clean. A library is available. You'll forget about the fact that this college has been here for decades.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and very knowledgeable, and the best thing is they are frank with students. They are strict but also good people at the same time. Brainware is the only university I've heard of that started providing AI courses in 2019. (Equipment is top-notch) Semesters are kind of tough, like on a scale of 10 I would say 6-7, but quite achievable if you study properly.
Other: This university is strictly against ragging, and they have their own anti-ragging squad deployed. This is the best thing about this college zero tolerance for ragging.

It's good and average, depending on one's own adaptation.
Placements: We haven't been given a chance for placement right now because we are close to the 5th-semester exam. We will be able to sit for it starting with the 6th semester, and the placement is what you expect from a low-tier private college. As for the average package, it's around 2 LPA, and for the highest, I'm not sure, but they display on their site between 10-12 LPA. They ensure internships for everyone, whatever they can fit for, starting with Agnirath and Samsung for those who cannot get one on their own.
Infrastructure: Everything is good here. The canteen and labs are equipped with AC, and most of the classes are too. We have a particular library floor to get whatever you need for study, and you can borrow books from it. As for the quality of food, it's average and affordable. Medical facilities are somewhat good, and for sports, you need to be active enough to participate on your own.
Faculty: Around 40-50% of teachers are genuinely good, with actual teaching experience, and can understand what students need and want, except for others. They will teach you the whole syllabus, whatever you need to study as a B.Tech student (I'm one). Semester exams are not that hard if you study from the teacher's suggestions, and as for the pass percentage, it would be around 85+%.

Pretty good infrastructure, placements could have been better, food should be improved.
Placements: Regarding the placement given by the college, the package you will find might be a little low, but the opportunities that come are very good. Basically, the startups and mid-companies hire a lot of students, whereas a lot of quality students get placed in big companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty good, better than many private colleges. The hostel could have been a little better, but it ain't that bad. There are a lot of buildings, each divided based on the preferred course the students are opting for. Food could have been better, but it's above average.
Faculty: Faculty members are really good here. They are very cooperative and they always try to help you. The curriculum could have been better, as it lacks sports and other co-curricular activities. Co-curriculars should be upgraded in the future.

Brainware University: A roller-coaster ride and a beautiful college life.
Placements: Placements are good. Around 60 percent of students got properly placed in our course. Most of the students got placed at TCS in different tech roles such as System Engineer. The top roles are related to our domain and few non-technical roles are also related to business development. The lowest package is 1.2 LPA, the highest package is 14 LPA, and the average is 4 LPA. Few students got internships from our course in companies like Cloud Kaptan and a few startups and apprenticeships.
Infrastructure: The library and labs are good in terms of cleanliness, helpful staff, good and the latest technologies, classrooms have AC and the Wi-Fi is available on campus. The hostel facilities are that they have different types of rooms, the warden is good, and the food in the mess is very affordable, and the food court food is very nice but a little more than the mess food, and the food court has a nice cafeteria too. The doctors and the sports and games teacher are equally excellent at their roles.
Faculty: The teachers have good knowledge in their domains and are helpful, their teaching quality is amazing and they use the latest tools for demonstration. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes students ready for the industry and teaches students how to handle different situations. The semester exams require due preparation and effort, most of the students pass very well. The pass percentage is 90 percent.
Other: The course is very affordable. The course aligns with the UGC and the best thing about the course was learning so many subjects while managing assignment deadlines and exams. More activities and events can be added. The college fest is huge and the campus conducts events throughout the year. The campus surroundings have good views and greenery. Most students get the SVMCM scholarship and have exceptional space for extracurricular activities.

College is not that bad but not the best.
Placements: In our college 98 percent of students are placed in different companies through the college campus. Among them the good students are placed in Deloitte, Microsoft, etc. Internships start from the very first and they give us good opportunities.
Infrastructure: Department infrastructure is average. It can be better. The subjects are good. The hostel fees are Rs. 10,000 per month which is comparatively high in comparison to the food quality and hygiene it can be better. The hygiene of food must be good and the canteen is away from the hostel. Our labs are also good.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful. 75 percent attendance is mandatory to appear in the exam. It's not that hard to pass exams if you study a bit. The course curriculum is relevant. They take exams to prepare us for the upcoming campus in college.
