BSc Home Science is a three-year course of Bundelkhand University spread across semesters. Below are some of the subjects that are a part of the curriculum:

• Introduction to Home Science
• Human Physiology
• Introductory Sciences 
• Applied and Community Nutrition, etc.

A total of 12 specialisations are offered in the BSc (Hons) programme. The duration of all the specialisations is three years, except BSc (Hons) Agriculture.

Bundelkhand University releases the application form usually in April. As per the schedule, below are tentative dates for admission:

Candidates who wish to apply for Bundelkhand University BTech programme must complete a minimum of Class 12. Below is detailed eligibility for BTech course:

• Candidates need to complete Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 50% aggregate for BTech ECE, Electronics and Instrumentation and Mechanical Engineering.
• For all other specialisations, candidates who have passed Class 12 with Biology can also apply provided they have secured at least 50% aggregate.

Bundelkhand University considers AKTU Entrance Test or Bundelkhand University Entrance Test scores for admission to BTech. Aspirants do not require passing JEE Main for admission to BTech programme of the university. Candidates must also meet the eligibility requirements for admission. Aspirants who have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology with at least 50% aggregate can apply for BTech.

Bundelkhand University accepts JEE Main scores for admisison to BTech courses. The JEE Main cutoff to get BTech admission closed at a range of 216275 and 1281371, among the Home State quota candidates. Thus, it is possible to ge admission at Bundlekhand University with a JEE Main rank of 85000. There are quite a few courses available at 85000 rank.

Candidates preparing for Bundelkhand University are only required to appear for the JEE Main entrance exam. Students who secure above the 75 percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 will have the fair chance to secure a seat at the institute. Further, they need to start preparing for the counselling session.

Bundelkhand University Jhansi offers admission via entrance exam or qualifying exam scores of candidates. For courses such as MCA, BCA (Hons), BCA, MCom, etc., based on merit. Aspirants applying for these courses does not require passing an entrance exam. The requirement of entrance test scores varies course-wise.

The Bundelkhand University JEE Main cutoff 2024 was out for all categories of students who belonged to the Home State quota. For the OBC HS category, the closing cutoff in the last round ranged from 273755 to 973020. Among all the BE/BTech specialisations, the hardest one for admission was B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, with the closing cutoff ranging from 193609 in the first round to 273755 in the last round. 

In contrast the easiest specialisation for this category was B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, with the closing cutoff ranging from 575292 in the first round to 973020 in the last round.
