    My Experience as a B.Sc. Biotech Student: The Good & The Challenges.
    Placements: I am a B.Sc. A biotechnology student, and in our course, around 55-60% of students get placed, mostly in labs, hospitals, and research support companies. The highest package is usually around 5-6 LPA, the lowest around 1.8 LPA, and the average stays near 2.5-3 LPA. Companies like Biocon, Cipla, and local research labs visit for hiring and internships. About half of the students also get internships in hospitals, diagnostic labs, and biotech startups. The top roles include lab technician, quality control trainee, research assistant, and clinical intern. Placements are decent if you are genuinely interested in lab work and research.
    Infrastructure: Our biotechnology department has well-equipped labs with microscopes, centrifuges, and a proper practical setup. The classrooms have projectors, and the campus Wi-Fi works most of the time smoothly. The library has a good collection of biotech books and journals that help during exams and practical files. As a girl, I feel the hostel is safe with strict entry timings, clean washrooms, and regular housekeeping. The mess food is manageable and simple. The canteen is a good escape when we crave tasty snacks. The campus also has medical support, sports areas, and peaceful spots to study.
    Faculty: The faculty is supportive, qualified, and very approachable. Most teachers explain experiments in details, which really helps during practical exams. The curriculum feels relevant because it covers microbiology, genetics, biochemistry, and other subjects useful for higher studies or lab careers. Exams are moderate; theory needs good writing and diagrams, while practical require consistent practice. If you attend classes regularly, scoring well isn? T difficult. The pass percentage is usually high because teachers help with notes and revision sessions.
    Other: Considering the properly equipped labs, safe hostel, and approachable faculty, the course feels worth the fee. For a biotechnology degree, the college provides a good balance of theory, practical exposure, and academic support.

    Good learning environment with supportive faculty and decent placements.
    Placements: Here are some of the common roles are software developer/programmer, web developer (front-end/back-end/full stack), data analyst/junior data scientist, technical support engineer, it support/system administrator, database administrator (trainee), quality assurance (qa)/software testing engineer, cybersecurity analyst (entry level in some companies), and bpo/technical process associate (in some placement drives)..
    Infrastructure: Our department provides good academic facilities for students. The classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated, equipped with projectors and whiteboards for effective teaching. The computer labs have sufficient systems with internet connectivity for practical sessions, and Wi-Fi is available within the campus for students. The library is well-stocked with textbooks, reference materials, and journals related to Computer Science. Apart from this, the college also provides seminar halls, reading spaces, and basic amenities that support learning and overall development.
    Faculty: Teachers in our department are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable in their subjects. They explain concepts clearly and provide guidance during practical sessions as well. Most of them are approachable and supportive, especially when it comes to doubts, assignments, and career-related advice. The overall teaching quality is good, with a balance of theoretical and practical knowledge that helps in understanding the core concepts of Computer Science.
    Other: I chose B.Sc. Computer Science because of my strong interest in technology, programming, and problem-solving. This course provides a good foundation in Computer Science concepts and helps in building analytical as well as practical skills that are essential for a career in IT.

    College is very good. I recommend it for students who have passed 12th this year.
    Placements: Top recruiting companies for the course include IT service companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, and Tech Mahindra, as well as product/software companies like IBM, Accenture, Capgemini, and Cognizant. Startups and mid-level IT firms also hire for software development and support roles, while some students also get opportunities in BPOs, banks, and government IT departments.
    Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure for the course/department include spacious and well-ventilated classrooms equipped with projectors and whiteboards for effective teaching, computer labs with a sufficient number of PCs, updated software, programming tools, and internet facility for practicals related to programming, database management, operating systems, networking, and other subjects. High-speed Wi-Fi is available on campus, especially in labs, library, and academic blocks, allowing students to access study material and online resources. Additionally, there are toilets, parking, a park, and teachers’ notes and theory materials available.
    Faculty: Teachers in our department are qualified and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. Most of them hold advanced degrees and have a strong understanding of both theoretical concepts and practical applications. They are generally helpful and approachable, guiding students not only in academics but also in project work, seminars, and career-related queries. The teaching quality is effective, with a mix of lectures, presentations, and lab sessions. Teachers often explain concepts with real-life examples to make learning easier.
    Other: Overall, the college is very neat and clean, and the computer labs are excellent.

    I'm satisfied because my goals were a little different than those of most people, so I was okay.
    Placements: I didn't participate in placement provided by the college, so I can't say much about it, but based on a few company confrontations I've had, I can say it's pretty bad for CS-based students. If you want to land a good placement, you'll have to work for it yourself. The college is not gonna give you that.
    Infrastructure: The campus is very wide open and well structured, and it's in development as we speak. I never lived in the hostel, so I don't know much, but I had friends who did and according to them, it was a good experience for both boys and girls, both hostels are separate.
    Faculty: Teachers are helpful, they try their best to provide us with the best information they have. If you are well prepared, the semester is not that hard. The curriculum is relevant to the course and on point, and if I have to change something about the course, then I would change the practical.
    Other: It's all good once you get the hang of it, and well, honestly speaking, if you are dead serious about studies, then study and get into government colleges or better ones.

    A good college in Meerut for the computer science branch.
    Placements: Hi, I am a 2023 batch student, Taniya Tyagi, and I am doing a B.Sc. Computer Science from Meerut College, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Placements are not good, really, but average. I think it is the best college for B.Sc. Computer Science in our area, Meerut, so there are other courses provided by the college.
    Infrastructure: It would offer a range of facilities to support teaching, learning, and research. These generally include well-equipped classrooms, computer labs, a library, and potential specialized labs relevant to the specific field of study. It is good in Meerut at a low fee.
    Faculty: Overall, the teachers in the reviewed institutions were generally reported as helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with good teaching quality. The course curriculum was also considered relevant and capable of preparing students for the industry at Meerut College.

    Teachers disappoint the most.
    Placements: Placements were at very less packages, not very great companies came to the college for placements. One key reason was the lack of industry tie-ups or a weak alumni network. Colleges without strong connections to the corporate world often struggle to attract top recruiters. Another factor was outdated curriculum and poor teaching standards. If students were not trained in relevant skills like coding, data analysis, communication, or problem-solving, companies hesitate to hire them.
    Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi was available for students, classrooms were small, library did not have many books, canteen food was fine, and no sports and games. The labs did not have good equipments, they were old and outdated. Teachers did not even help, especially physics department. The campus was not very nice.
    Faculty: Teachers did not have much knowledge except from the books. They were teaching from, and they were not motivating. The teaching quality was very bad. Teachers did not even bother to stand to teach. Since, teachers did not teach much, the internal examinations were not that tough.

    Q:   What is the CCSU admission process for BA courses?
    A: 

    Candidates who have passed the class 12/intermediate exam or equivalent with the relevant subjects and required aggregate become eligible to apply. Eligible students can further fill out the online application form on CCSU official website (ccsuniversity.ac.in). After the conclusion of the application process, the university selects students based on scores in the last qualifying exam and allot seats.

    Q:   What are the BSc specialisations offered by CCS University?
    A: 

    The university offers BSc in one specialisation, which is in Food Microbiology, Safety & Quality Control. In addition, BSc (Hons) is offered in two specialisations, namely Computer Science & Chemistry.     No, CCSU is not a private university. CCS Meerut (earlier known as Meerut University) is a UGC approved university. CCSU Meerut University is also accredited with A+ Grade by the NAAC. Being a public university, the fee for the available programmes is not very high.
