Not satisfied with the infrastructure, placements and facilities.
Placements: Placement was very poor, maybe zero. The students had to secure themselves in a company with their own efforts. College doesn't help anything in this matter. Internship opportunity was easy. Normally small energy companies or csir labs or IIT labs were the opportunity for the internship.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi, no proper labs, the worst food and mess, the worst taste. Dirty bathrooms, dirty faulty rooms. Can't avail rooms for first 2 years. Food was horrible and not enough for all students. Campus was fine but establishments were very bad. Specially in this time, without Wi-Fi college campus is just horrible experience.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, teaching quality was poor. Not enough faculty, no proper teaching by the temporary teachers. Not qualified temporary teachers. No proper structure of curriculum. Semester exams were easy. Not proper question paper and checking system.

A premier university in Jharkhand.
Placements: The placement rate is more than 80% including on-campus and off-campus placement results. Most of the students were placed during their M.Tech project. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA. A lot of students were placed in solar companies like Vikram Solar, GSES India, Sterling and Wilson etc. Some students also go for PhDs. As far as the internships are concerned, all the students were offered internships in institutes like IITs, NISE, NIWE, and organisations like Tata Power, Tata Motors, and BEE, etc.
Infrastructure: The university is running on its temporary green campus. The campus is spread over 45 acres. An auditorium, sports complex, cafeteria, football ground, badminton court, basketball court, volleyball court, cricket ground, and TT court, etc., are available here. The labs are well-equipped, and the classrooms are very good. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Hostel rooms are pretty good and spacious. All the hostel rooms are equipped with 3 beds, chairs, study tables and almirahs.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified, helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is up to the mark. Faculty members generally teach with the help of presentations. There is a lack of teachers. We get industry exposure with the help of faculty members. The course is very useful for those who want to make a career in the field of renewable energy and power sector.
Other: There is a society named The Energiea is formed by the students of Energy Engineering. Every year, The Energiea organises an event to promote renewable energy and resources. This year that event is named as Aujasya. Apart from this, an annual techno-cultural event named Navadhar and sports fest named Khelotsav are also organised every year.

Overview of my university.
Placements: Established on 2009 under UGC, till now there's no campus placements. Reason has been unstable administration, and regular changing of vice chancellor and still CUJ's effective efforts to make its reputation in higher education field and become one of top central universities. However few departments in CUJ has successfully availed campus placement by one of the top companies in their field. Speaking of my department the CUJ recently collaborated with CEED (center for environment and energy development) along with JREDA (Jharkhand renewable energy development agency)and SHAKTI (sustainable energy foundation) for re-powering Jharkhand initiative by electrification through solar energy for sustainable environment as clean energy.
Infrastructure: Set up across adorable green campus, CUJ has proper availability of departments n classrooms with comfortable design, lighting and AC availability. Wi-Fi is available in hostels, with no access smtimes but rectified within hours. Labs and equipment availability is good however engineering departments are still on there finishing touch. Libraries 9 am to 6pm, almost all books can be found with scarcity during exams. Campus has enough area for sports and different sports kits and programs. Coming to food. Ehh decent. Hostel rooms are good with leakage in old ones only, most probably sealed now?
Faculty: Teaching was good. There are goods n bags in every college not to mention. Initially teachers recruitment process was doubtful still they stabilized later. I'm always thankful to teachers. They are always ready to help for any doubt or motivation or future plans but yes we had to go again n again.
Other: Variety of events were held in campus organised by different departments from national events to cultural events, seminars to fest, marching to awareness campaings. One of the biggest was 'Akhara', people across the country came to show their culture n tradition along with fooding. Not to mention CUJ always promoted the culture of Jharkhand in every event, promotion and inauguration. Among many extracurriculars, one involved awareness of education across rural areas nearby along with flash mobs n open theatre in Ranchi city.

Dissatisfied with poor infrastructure, labs, classrooms, placements, and weak administration.
Placements: We don't have any placements in our department and our college, but this year, CEED has done a placement drive in our department. Many students who are graduated or post graduated from our college are still jobless. Many students have left the college after graduation due to no placements, and some students moved to other colleges for higher studies.
Infrastructure: We lack basic infrastructure in our college. There are no proper classrooms. The hostels are very dirty, and there are no laboratories in the engineering department. The classroom lacks the basic needs like AC, and even fans are not working. There are no smart classrooms available to teach us properly. There is no placement cell in the college.
Faculty: The faculty members are good, but they don't teach us properly. They only teach a few topics. The curriculum of our university is great in all perspectives, but we don't get enough knowledge in our particular field due to the lack of labs, smart classes and research methods.

You get an engineering degree with the least fees and efforts.
Placements: Still, there is no one placed on the campus for this course. Also, the students mostly get into companies or institutes with their own efforts. There are also zero efforts from the administration. There is also a practical industrial exposure as their network is zero. The placement cell exists only in their pen and paper.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and other stuff are okayish. Also, labs are pretty good for these courses except for the centre of excellence and the photovoltaic lab. Also, the library stock is very limited, and there are very fewer journals for access. The food quality is also unbearable. The Wi-Fi is the only thing you would be happy with, but still, it breaks down sometimes.
Faculty: The course curriculum is good, but proper lab infrastructure does not back them. Faculty quality is degrading. Except for a few professors, rest are enjoying their government service. People who have tried hard to establish good labs are now demotivated as the administrative policies are the worst here. Even, if you have the fund, it takes a decade for an instrument to be procured.
Other: The fests are a distant reality here. We have opened a Tech club, which gradually stopped functioning. Also, the people are least interested in these activities.

Dissatisfied because of the lack of laboratories. Average teaching methodology.
Placements: There is no placement, but some of our seniors are doing PhD, and some of them have been selected in GATE. No companies visit this university, but only the MBA department, but this year, no companies visited. There is no proper placement and recruitment cell which helps us to make contact with any company.
Infrastructure: The facilities on the campus are not so good as it is a temporary campus where there is a lack of facilities. There is no proper classroom, and there is lack of books in the library. Medical facilities are also the worst. Wi-Fi connection is also not stable, and it is limited. The food served in the hostel lacks basic nutrients.
Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified and experienced. The teaching methods are somehow not up to the mark as there is a lack of laboratories which makes every student unsatisfied. The only method of teaching is blackboard based. We receive industry exposure. The course curriculum is very good as it is a unique branch called energy engineering which teaches us to adopt various method to save energy and implement new technology for their wise use.
