I am satisfied with college and good placement record for M.Tech FFT branch.
Placements: I am a student at this college. Previously, placements were very good for foundry forge technology branch. Around 17 students out of 25 were placed from our seniors batch. Our super seniors batch had a 100% placement record. The average salary package offered will be around 3.75 LPA, the highest salary package offered is around 4.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Companies like Foseco, Bonfiglioli and Crescent Enterprises will visit here for placements. Roles offered to the students will be process engineer, sales and technical roles. Most of the students will do an internship for 1 year. Companies like L&T and Crescent Enterprises will offer an internship.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in all hostels and on campus also. The library has detailed concept-based books and related to articles. Labs like foundry workshop, forge workshop and heat treatment lab and metallography lab are available here with good equipment. Other facilities like sports grounds and medical facilities are available on the campus. Food served is average.
Faculty: Professors in our college are very helpful in clearing our doubts, and they teach good knowledge-oriented study. Industry-related courses are taught for us, which will be helpful for us to be industry-ready. The course curriculum is highly related to industries which are mostly like foundry and forge companies only.
Other: I joined this college by clearing GATE exam in the years 2018. It is a very good college for the mechanical stream, which is a core branch. A fest is celebrated in our college every year called Jinks Pranav.

Review of National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology.
Placements: The placement scenario of our college is very good. It is good for the students who see their career in the foundry and forge based companies like Creasant Foundry and Tata Motors. A new course named ADC (Advance Diploma course) enhances the placement statistics.
Infrastructure: Well-equipped lecture halls with good seating facilities are available. A gymkhana is available. There is a separate administration building. Separate hostels are available for both boys and girls. Hostels are available for students of all years.
Faculty: It is the only foundry and forge-based college in Asia with highly qualified teaching faculty from both the foundry and forge. The college has a highly equipped workshop with different machines like an induction furnace, lathe machine etc.

The college has really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Approximately, 90% of our seniors and super seniors were placed in different companies. The highest package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest package was 3 LPA. Companies like TCS, Sundaram, Clayton, RKFL, Synergy Green, etc., visited the campus to offer placements. There is a placement cell in the college which is very useful for the students of every department.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus. There are various labs for different departments. There are separate classrooms for different departments. A central library is also available. Medical facilities are available. There is a huge sports ground. The quality of labs and classrooms is good. I haven't faced any problems with the infrastructure until now.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, and all are specialised in their respective field. All the faculty members are PhD holders and have industry experience. They are always reachable to students. I have done my industrial training from RKFL Jamshedpur. Foundry and Forge Technology is very useful to the students interested in the foundry and forges industry.
Other: Fests are organised in the college. Various extracurricular activities are also conducted.

Placements: The college is very good and assures 100% placements. A lot of companies visit the campus to hire students. Faculty members support the students a lot. The highest package offered is 6 LPA, the average package offered is around 4.5-5 LPA, and the lowest package is around 3.6 LPA. Mostly, foundry companies visit the campus to offer placements.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very good. A lot of books are available in the library. Labs have a lot of equipment and are too good. A cricket ground, football ground, and volleyball ground are available for sports. Indoor games like badminton and table tennis are played. The internet connectivity is good.
Faculty: Faculty in our college are highly experienced. They teach us in such a manner that students can easily understand the subjects. The student to faculty ratio is very good. A lot of faculty members are available on the campus. Many industries offer internship opportunities. The course curriculum is very useful.
Other: Scholarships are available for the students of B.Tech and M.Tech courses. Students of these courses are offered Rs. 12,400 per month as stipend. A college of its own kind in Asia.
Placements: Placements are very good for the students of all branches. The college is of its own kind in Asia. Different companies visit the campus and offer very good packages. Almost 100% of the students from core branches were placed last year. The average package offered for M.Tech students was around 4.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. The college provides Wi-Fi facility in the hostel for final year students. There are four hostels for boys and one hostel for girls. The academic block was newly constructed and is very good. Labs are not up to standards. There is a medical block, and the medical facilities are available for 24 hours.
Faculty: The course curriculum is very good and is as per the new standards. They use traditional teaching methods. However, modern technologies are introduced in the college. The student to teacher ratio is very appreciable. The faculty provide good industry exposure through their teaching methods.
Other: The college organises a fest in February and March, every year. The campus crowd is very good, and the campus is located in the heart of the city.

A good college you should get into.
Placements: Placements were good last year. Many reputed companies comes for placement. But placement Is very good for B.Tech and add students, average package for M.Tech students is around 4.5. Good companies visit our campus. The internship is very good everyone gets to do a project in the course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good and is still improving. The labs are undergoing renovation for modern day requirement. There are four different hostel. Final year hostel has Wi-Fi connection. The library is big and contains all types of books and journal required. The lecture hall is also very good. Medical facility is available every time. But the college does not have a proper canteen.
Faculty: The faculty here is very good and knowledgeable, helpful and are very qualified. The teaching method is still OLD school but is quite effective. Interaction between professors and students is very good. We get to know about industries and the work environment. The curriculum helps to understand our field of work.
Other: JINKS is the name of fest held here every year around March. Quite enjoyable. The campus is in The middle of city nearby airport and railway station. You don't have to go faraway for things for your daily routine. There is a gymkhana that is run by the students which is responsible for extra curricular activities.

The college is worth for money.
Placements: In foundry and forge technology (FFT) batch in M.tech, placement is good other than manufacturing and material science. In the last year 2015 batch, 15 students are placed out of 19 students. B.Tech and ADC students have great placement scenario here. So great opportunity is provided here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. This institute is situated in Hatia, where the population density is very less. Although the area is surrounded by hills, there is no pollution at all. In the summer season, around 25-30°C temperature is maintained in daylight. But in the night, it even reduces.
Faculty: The faculty of foundry and forge are good. They have much teaching experience, and they make the concepts clear. But the syllabus has not changed since last 20 years. They know only the old forge and foundry technology. Teachers have no idea about modern technology like nano forging and micro forging. These issues are raised in MHRD ministry in INI proposal. Events conducted in the college are very less.

I am very much satisfied with the college. Placements were nearly 100%.
Placements: Our placement drives are about to begin now. Moreover, in our senior batch, almost 19 out of 21 students got placed. Almost 90% of the students got a placement. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.18 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4.3 LPA. Companies like Tata Motors, Tata Cummins, Jaw, LMW, Crescent Foundry, Craftsman Automation, RKFL, etc., visited here for placements. In each year, almost 6-8 students chosen for colleges industrial Liaison Cell to communicate with the company. Nearly 60-70% of the students got internships from college. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 12,400. The lowest stipend offered was Rs. 3,000. The average stipend offered was Rs. 7,000. There is a placement cell available which comprises of 6 lectures, which gives required information to students about placements and internships.
Infrastructure: LAN connection provided to all final year students, but soon enough Wi-Fi connection will be available. Classrooms were neat and clean. There are well-designated labs. All useful books are available in the library. NIFFT have their own hospital and a gymkhana for sports and games. You can get good practical knowledge from the labs and classrooms are very good. The mess food was not that good, but it's okay. Each student gets a single room in the hostel. Until now, I didn't face any problems.
Faculty: All the faculty members are very helpful, highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is of a high standard. You can get both theoretical and practical knowledge, and the college is soon planning for a projector-based classroom. The student to faculty ratio is nearly about 12:1. We have a 1-month industrial training programme and also study tour to different companies every year. The course is very much useful for the foundry and forge and manufacturing industries.
Other: There are a lot of events conducted here every year. Fest named Jinks is conducted here. Scholarships are provided if you are eligible for a scholarship.
