At the UG level, UG (3-year) courses recorded the highest number of students placed during 2022 placements. At the PG level, the highest number of PG (2-year) students were placed. A major concern about CUK for admission is the geographical placement of the University. The University is located in Srinagar and offers great set of courses along with placement opportunities and assistance. Apart from this, the University also offers scholarships for eligible candidates with technologically advanced infrastructure. It follows a Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) for the evaluation of all UG and PG programmes.

The University has not released the separate placement data for BSc. However, the combined placement details for UG (3-year) courses has been released. Out of 56 UG (3-year) graduates 32 were placed during 2022 placements. In 2021, out of 49 students 10 were placed successfully. Admission to CU Kashmir includes merit and entrance based eligibility criteria. Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Class 12 along with valid scores in CUET UG/PG for the admission to UG and PG level courses.
