Eligibility criteria for Addmission to M.Tech at Central University of Kashmir is 

B.E/ B.Tech in CSE (Computer Science Engineering/ IT (Information Technology) / Electronics and Communication through regular course of study from an UGC/AICTE approved institution with at least 55% marks (50% for OBC/SC/ST/PWD candidates).

Also student should clear GATE cut-off to take or enlist name in admission process through central e-counselling system.

As per the latest information from the university, the intake capacity in Central University of Kashmir for M.Tech is 30.

Central University of Kashmir offers only M.Tech degree in Information Technology. So, competition to get admission in Central University of Kashmir is hard Just because of less number of seats.

The university's Training and Placement Cell maintains close ties with leading industries and research organizations, and the placement percentage is reported to be 60%. LL.M.	Candidate must have completed Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) 3 Years/ 5 Year Integrated BA LLB with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute.
B.A.	Candidate must have passed 10+2 in any stream with the mentioned marks in aggregate or its equivalent on grading scale of respective boards (45% for PwD candidates).

The University has not released the separate placement data for BSc. However, the combined placement details for UG (3-year) courses has been released.
