M.Tech Colleges in Jammu and Kashmir - 2026 Fees, Admission, Placements

The total fee for IIT Jammu MTech programmes is cumulative of multiple components, such as hostel fee, security deposit, tuition fee, etc. Some of the fee components are one-time chargeable, while some have to be paid annually/semesterly. NIT Srinagar has not released its branch wise placement perecentage recorded in 2025. However, the 2023 branch wise placement rate are given in the table below:

IUST Awantipora Diploma admission is subject to the fulfilment of the preset eligibility and selection criteria. The eligibility criteria for Diploma admission is for the candidates to have passed Class 10 with the minimum required aggregate (35%) and relevant subjects. Such candidates are required to appear for the University Entrance Test to be considered for seat allocation. Hence, getting a direct admission to the Diploma courses of IUST Awantipora may not be possible.

As per the latest information, the overall cut-off varies from 357-367 for the M.Tech courses at SMVDU.

To be spoken separately the expected cut-off for "computer and Science engeenering" is 357, 361 for "system engeenering" and 367 for "electronic and communication engeenering".

Central University of Jammu offers M.Tech students an average package that can range from INR 5 LPA to INR 7 LPA. The highest placement package, though, might reach an astounding INR 10 LPA.

About 90% of the students were placed in prestigious firms, including Pepsico, ICICI Bank, ITC, HDFC Bank, Coca-Cola, Byju's, and other financial institutions.

Central University of Kashmir cutoff 2024 has been concluded with the release of Round 12 in the form of opening and closing scores across different AI and HS categories. Considering the Central University of Kashmir CUET cutoff 2024, students get into Central University of Kashmir with a score of 50 marks under General AI category as per the Last Round cutoff.
