Very satisfied with the faculty and good placements, but the infrastructure is not good.
Placements: Almost 30 students out of 40 are placed. The highest package was 20k, and the lowest was 10k. 4 and 5-star hotel industries. 100% of the students got internships from our course at various five-star hotels like Lalit Grand Palace, Srinagar, Radisson Collection, Khyber Himalayan Resort, and Spa Gulmarg.
Infrastructure: Facilities were not good enough, and the infrastructure was also not good. Only the classrooms and library are there in the university. Hostel facilities are not there at all; only some rooms are there for some out-of-state students, not for the students of Kashmir.
Faculty: Yes, teachers were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very good; they always guide us on every step of learning. We are very thankful to our faculty and other staff of the university. They are very helpful and supportive.
Other: I chose this course because I feel that tourism has a lot of scope in Jammu and Kashmir.

Absolutely stunning experience, great faculty and great placement for 2023 batch.
Placements: The lowest package offered was between 1.2 and 2 lakhs. Companies that visited campus included Lalit, Radisson, ITC, and Taj. One hundred percent of the students were offered internships at these companies. The starting position was at the associate level, but the level of responsibility increased with experience. Overall, the placement experience was very good.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are great, and I'm really enjoying my time here. The infrastructure for my course is top-notch, and it is one of the best infrastructure among all the courses offered by the university.
Faculty: The teachers here are top-notch and very well qualified. They maintain a great student-teacher relationship, which really helps in learning. The curriculum is relevant and provides the necessary knowledge and skills for a professional degree. However, the course is very tough, and the pass percentage is only 33%.
Other: This course provides the best guidance for future life as per the professions. The internship management should be changed. We celebrate every event fest with great enthusiasm.

B.Voc. in Tourism Hospitality Management - Batch of 2020

It is quite good to be a part of this institution.
Placements: Placements for our senior batch were a bit not up to the mark. We hope that it will be better for our batch. Around 20 to 30% of the students were placed from the last batch. Most of the hospitality industries like hotels, etc., visited the university for placements. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 9,000 per month. All the hospitality related roles were offered. Almost 100% of students got internships, and the stipend offered was about Rs. 1,200. The college doesn't have a definite placement cell. It is useful for students.
Infrastructure: The university has a well-defined infrastructure. The campus is a little bit small, but it is up to the mark. There is a well-established Wi-Fi network on the whole campus which can be accessed by everyone for free. Labs are very well-equipped, and classrooms are satisfactory.
Faculty: The teachers are very dedicated and helpful, They are very well qualified and have a lot of knowledge, especially about their subjects. The teaching facilities used are very simple and quite understanding. We get a very well-defined industry exposure during our course.
Other: Many events are organised in the university. The campus is small, but it is well-connected and highly crowded.

Quite a good effort by the teachers.
Placements: We haven't had placements yet. We are still on our course. We will complete our course in 2019, and we will get placements after completing the course. The administration has assured us of the better placements in the near future, when our course will be finished. But I think, it was just a saying of our administration and staff. None of the traces of our seniors we find about the placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. There is no area for playing. We do not have enough space outside the classrooms. There is no parking space for the vehicles. Vehicles are parked outside the classes. There is no space to move around. There needs to be proper care to be taken for classrooms.
Faculty: Quite a brilliant faculty are available. There are lots of efforts from the faculty. The curriculum is good but not that much good. It will satisfy your needs. The administration is lagging behind every time with regards to uploads, whether it would be results or any notification. This seems to be the biggest backdrop of the administration.
Other: There is a railway track in the surrounding area.

Very much thankful and satisfied by the course curriculum and faculty and good placement .
Placements: Around 50 percent are placed. The lowest is 100k per annum the highest is 150k Raddison, lalit and ITC All of us got internship at prestigious brands like lalit, ITC, Taj, Sheraton, raddison, lemon tree and much more well named properties. Top roles offered are associate level.
Infrastructure: No labs available Library is very good Wi-Fi services is also available at browsing centre. Hostel food is average. Medical facilities are good as we have health centre at our university. The canteen is not functional. It should be made functional and food available should be good enough.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Yes the course curriculum is relevant. The semester exams are very difficult. The pass percentage is 33 percent. The semester exams should be made a less easy and moderate tough enough to Handel. Overall everything is good.
Other: The course has got nemrous opportunity and great experience. The placement and internship process should be done correctly and promptly.
