Q: What is the step-wise UCEED 2026 counseling process?

The 1st step of UCEED 2026 counseling is online registration. The counseling registration process for UCEED will be conducted starting the 2nd week of March 2026. Candidates who have qualified in the entrance exam and have been assigned a merit rank in UCEED were eligible to participate in the counseling process.
The 2nd step is the selection of campuses. Eligible candidates must register for counseling and select their preferred colleges in order of priority during registration.
In the 3rd step, seat allotment is made. The allotment of seats is as per the merit rank of the candidate in UCEED and the choices selected. Post the allotment of seats, the candidate has to pay the seat acceptance fee and confirm their admission.

Q: How can I check CEED 2026 result?

CEED 2026 result was announced online on the official website of the exam - ceed.iitb.ac.in. The results were declared on March 04, 2026.

Q: What is the Stage 2 of CEPT admission process?

During the Stage 2 of CEPT admission process, the candidates will be allotted in the remaining seats. It is also to be noted that the score secured in the Stage I of the admission process cannot be carried forward to Stage II. All candidates will have to be physically present at the campus for Stage II of the admission process. The weightage for Part A (Test) and Part B (Personal Interview) is 60% and 40%, respectively.

Q: Will personal interviews be conducted for CEPT admission process?

Yes. authorities will conduct personal interviews to select candidates for admission into courses offered by Univesity. While exceptional candidates will be given direct admission, other candidates will have to sit for a personal interview and get a green light from authorities for admission. Candidates are advised to check details regarding the CEPT admission process and weightage carefully.

My experience at CEPT University.

Placements: The university has a placement committee. The placement depends on the department, as the faculty of planning has 5 departments, namely urban planning, urban design, urban infrastructure, urban housing, and urban transport planning. The majority of companies prefer planners. May it be infrastructure, housing or transport. The university has a common CV template for students. 70% of the students are placed per department.

Infrastructure: The university campus is located over 12 acres of land and is well-equipped with all basic amenities, such as IT services, smart classrooms, labs, a cafeteria, a library, a hall, a conference hall, an auditorium, Wi-Fi, etc. The college has a good infrastructure. The library is a repository of wonderful books and a lot of useful resources. The Wi-Fi network is wonderful. Classrooms and labs are extremely well-equipped. The University has hostel facilities for both girls and boys. The University provides hostel facilities with basic amenities such as mess, TV, common room, water purifiers, laundry service, security & surveillance systems, etc.

Faculty: Being at the postgraduate level, the lectures are more qualitative than quantitative. The faculty is mostly Ph.D. holders for theory classes. And with a minimum experience of 5 years of professional practice. There is one faculty member per 12 students. And a programme chair who looks up to the whole batch. With a teaching assistant for the help of the faculty. The course curriculum is specific to Indian sites and projects. And it makes us ready for the professional work. The exam structure is more about understanding the concept. So mostly we have open book exams. And assignment. Jury reviews are the final output we produce. And then the portfolio submission of the studio work. The course, in its initial stages of the semester, is purely research-based.

Other: Extracurricular activities are organized by the college every now and then in the form of seminars organized for every subject. A crowd at the college is great in many ways. I got to explore my hidden talent and I met new people and made new contacts.

College offering best faculty, placements opportunities and facilities to the students.

Placements: CEPT University is one of the best college for the designing courses. Every year around 60-70% of the students get on campus placement at our college. Average package offered for our was between 5 to 7 LPA. Various corporate and government bodies visits this college for the on campus placements. Students also gets internship at this college with handsome stipend.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure available for our structural design course was well maintained and developed at this college. All the necessary facilities were available for the students in the college campus. Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, classrooms, halls, sports complex, hostel, medical etc. Facilities were available for the college students.

Faculty: Faculty of the CEPT University was highly qualified and knowledgeable for our course. Professors of this college were helpful and supportive to the students. Their way of teaching was good and makes the student understand all the concepts. Course curriculum followed in the college was relevant and makes the students industry ready. Semester exams of our college were not hard to pass.

Placements: Approximately 100% of placements are there for past students. A lot of the students have also started their own ventures and are successfully running them. The typical roles offered are those of consultants to urban local bodies, state governments, and parastatal agencies of the government. In recent years, there have been placements in social venture firms and NGOs as well.

Infrastructure: CEPT University boasts a well-equipped infrastructure in terms of technology. The library is a class apart and one of the best in the country. There is a plethora of reading material to choose from, and the accessibility is all-inclusive. The hostels are walking distance from the campus, and the students often choose hostels over rented flats.

Faculty: The faculty at CEPT are not just academicians but industry professionals who have immense expertise and experience. Each of the faculty members has worked in the industry and has technical expertise in the subject as well as real-life experience. The faculty members also provide an excellent network of industry experts, which helps in their careers.

A decent choice for M.Tech in the construction management.

Placements: Here, the placement is quite decent. For our batch, 50% of our class is placed from the 3rd semester only. For our seniors, it was almost 90%. The average package offered here is around Rs. 5.5 to 6 LPA (CTC). Also, good firms like the Turner, SPCL, Mott, Mc Donald, M Moser, etc., have visited our campus. In short, from the placement point of view, it is quite good.

Infrastructure: Here, the infrastructure is very good. All the classes, as well as labs, are air-conditioned. Also, a 24-hours Wi-Fi facility is present here. Also, during the examination time, you can use the campus for 24 hours. All classes are open for 24 hours before the exam time. The library is also very good. The hostel here is not very good, so you can go for the private rooms.

Faculty: The course curriculum is very good. In the master's program, you have a studio each semester in which you get to work on the real projects which helps a lot in gaining the practical knowledge. Also, you have an option of taking elective courses of other branches of the architecture, planning, management, etc., as per your interest. The faculty members are also quite good.

Other: CEPT is also active in conducting various events. The cultural fests are also celebrated during each major festival. Also, there is the provision of the scholarship from the university.

Absolutely happy, and it was the best experience.

Placements: The faculty members are highly reputed in the industry, and the alumni network is extremely strong. So, do not worry about placements. Apart from that, it is only one of such kind of course in India which is studio based engineering programme. So, there are chances that, at the end of the course, some students may end up doing their own startup. Atkins, Aegis, BMT and many other reputed firms come for placement and salaries are the best as per industrial standard up to 6 LPA. Local companies are always ready to hire a student from here. The internships are easier to get from CEPT as the students learn basic design for multi-storey buildings in the first year of M.Tech.

Infrastructure: The college provides almost all the facilities to students. The library has a lot of great resources, and now they have built the bigger library. The classrooms are well maintained, and the classrooms are accessible almost 24*7 to the students. The college always helps students to buy required services, i.e. software.

Faculty: CEPT is having the best faculty members in structural engineering. So many people come from renowned companies to teach here. The faculty members are easily approachable. Even students can call them anytime for the any kind of help and my personal experience is that faculty members from other department also help the students. The course curriculum is the best as the university decides curriculum based on student feddback, industrial demand and the course is being updated as per industrial demand.

Placements: College promises excellent placements from one of the best in business.This is mainly because of the liberal and vast exposure a student gets while enrolling in the course.One can choose elective courses from other branches as well which gives him an overall idea of Built Environment.There are workshops on soft skills and technical skills as well which brings the finished product to be fit in business.

Infrastructure: This is one of the best parts of University.Designed by one of the best Architect in Asia - BV Doshi. You get positive vibes once you are on the campus.Almost everything from admission to the canteen to stationery is linked to RFID and University is becoming one of the most Tech. Savvy in India.Just love the high-speed campus Wi-Fi.

Faculty: People with high intellect and above and above, one with helping nature teach in the campus.They will motivate you all junctures to make you the best in class and will always be there for you when you hit the ground.Courses are industry based wherein you will have one studio course each semester and other electives which you can choose from any other faculties of your choice which is the fun part I like.Exams are a presentation based judged by experts in the field.

Other: I would only like to add that I have had one of the best days of my life in this college.They have completely changed me as a person from within and I came out better after Graduation.Few other perks are Scholarship, stipends and teaching assistantship wherein you can score Brownie points.
