CEPT Entrance Exam 2025 Pattern: Know Marking Scheme & Exam Duration

CEPT University offers MArch courses in various fields of specialisation to aspirants. The MArch courses offered at CEPT University include:

• MArch in Architectural Design
• MArch/ MA in Conservation and Regeneration
• MArch/ MA in Architectural History and Theory
• Master of Landscape Architecture

To secure admission in the MArch course offered at CEPT University, the candidates need to clear two admission stages. The CEPT MArch exam pattern is formulated in such a way as to test a candidate’s ability to analyse, describe, visualise and imagine. The CEPT exam pattern as well as the admission process for different MArch courses offered at the university is mentioned here.

The CEPT entrance test is held to assesses a candidate's aptitude to visualise, imagine and describe. On the other hand, in the personal interview round, the candidates are evaluated based on their motivation level and attitude. The official website informs that the expert panel will ask questions to assess the candidate’s general aptitude as well as knowledge of the work that they have submitted in their portfolio while interviewing them for CEPT admissions.

MArch admissions in Architectural Design are offered based on the candidate's performance in Stage I and Stage II of the admission process. Candidates with exceptional performance in Stage I of the admission process will be offered direct admission, whereas others will have to appear for a personal interview round to be shortlisted for admission.

The CEPT merit list for the remaining seats is prepared based on the score obtained in Stage II. Further, the candidates are informed that marks secured in Stage I of the admission process will not be carried forward in Stage II. Candidates need to be physically present at the CEPT campus for stage II of the admission procedure.

Admission to the MArch/ MA in Conservation and Regeneration is offered based on a candidate's performance in Stage I and Stage II of the admission process.
