CEPT Entrance Exam Bachelors in Design (Hons) 2025: Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Results

CEPT University conducts an entrance exam to shortlist aspirants for admission to courses offered by it. CEPT University has five faculties, and admission to courses offered by all of them is through an entrance exam.

The authorities have started the CEPT 2026 application form process. Before CEPT 2026 registration, the candidates are advised to check the official eligibility criteria. All candidates have to fill out and submit the CEPT application form 2026 with the required personal, academic and contact details. The preferred exam centre also has to be selected. All of the provided details had to be valid. Candidates must pay the CEPT 2026 application fee online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card.

CEPT University offers the following Architecture courses under its Faculty of Architecture:

CEPT Entrance Exam Eligibility 2026 for  MArch in Architectural Design

Candidates meet the eligibility criteria for MArch in Architectural Design if they possess a Bachelor's degree in Architecture (BArch) or an equivalent degree recognised by the Council of Architecture (COA) with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks for general category candidates and 50% aggregate marks for reserved category candidates. 

CEPT Entrance Exam Eligibility 2026 for Master of Landscape Architecture

To meet the CEPT entrance exam, the eligibility criteria for the Master of Landscape Architecture course, candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Interior Design disciplines from a recognised university or institution. However, it may be noted that candidates should clear their graduation with at least 55% (50% for reserved category candidates) aggregate marks. Apart from that, the official notification states that candidates with two years of experience in the Architecture profession and/or teaching after graduation are preferred.

CEPT Entrance Exam Eligibility 2026 for MArch in Architectural Design/ Conservation & Regeneration

Candidates should possess a BArch (Bachelor of Architecture) degree recognised by the Council of Architecture (COA) with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks for the general category and 50% for the reserved category. 

CEPT Entrance Exam Eligibility 2026 for MArch in Architectural History & Theory

Candidates meet the eligibility criteria for MArch in Architectural History & Theory if they possess a bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks for the general category and 50% aggregate marks for the reserved category. The minimum qualification for MArch in Architectural History & Theory course is BArch. Apart from this, candidates, who have minimum qualification for MA (Master of Arts in Architectural History and Theory) course is BTech (Structural, Civil), Bachelor in Interior Design (Minimum 4 years), Bachelor in Design (BDes) (Minimum 4 years), Bachelors in Urban Design or Planning (Minimum 4 years).

The authorities will prepare and release CEPT 2026 exam pattern. Through CEPT exam pattern 2026, candidates will be able to check the details of how entrance examination will be conducted. Some of important information that the candidates can check through the exam pattern is - examination duration, mode, sections, type of questions, marking scheme, etc. By knowing the exam pattern of CEPT 2026 beforehand, the candidates will be more comfortable with how the exam is held and accordingly prepare for it.

The CEPT 2025 Syllabus will include list of subjects and topics that have to be studied for exam. Candidates must check the syllabus before starting preparation. The CEPT syllabus is different for each course.

CEPT 2025 result date will be released soon. The results are released in form of merit list. The merit list gives list of candidates who qualify for admission to  courses offered by the university. Candidates are given admission based on  performance in test.
