Placements: Students here get the best placements in top companies and there are a lot of opportunities for BCA students as they get many golden chances to get jobs in the IT sector and many other big companies. I'm glad that I have chosen this university for my future.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very fine. I experienced such a lovely atmosphere here and a lot of decent facilities are available here. The hostel is too good and the mess is also very great and has tasty food. Medical facilities are also available.

Faculty: The faculty is very helpful, understanding, and qualified. They are all very knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good. The semester is easy for those who study properly and the BCA course is also fine as it gives you opportunities for the future.

Other: I've chosen this course because I have a huge interest in coding and computing. The best thing about this course is that you can study technology and get such high-paying jobs in the IT sector. I don't want to change anything about this course as it completely gives us a golden chance to make our future better. The events, fests, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, extracurricular activities, etc., are all very good and fine, as you can see for yourself.

My college review as a 1st-year student.

Placements: Placements are decent in this college. Good students get placed every year. The average package is around 6–7 LPA. The highest package last year was 1 CPA. The college brings companies and also helps us with resume making and mock interviews. You just have to learn the skills.

Infrastructure: Rooms are clean. Mess food is also good in taste. Electricity and water are available all the time. Washrooms are cleaned daily. Wi-Fi works fine. Medical facilities are also available in our hostel. A sports arena and a gym are also available in our hostel.

Faculty: Semester exams are very easy. If you are attentive in class, you can score well in semester exams. To score well in exams, you should pay attention in class and be regular in college. Teachers also upload class PDFs on our ERP, which is very helpful for us to learn from there as well.

Other: There are different types of events in our college, which are organized by different society members. So, be a part of the societies and also participate in the events. You will enjoy it much more.

Good campus life and career opportunities.

Placements: Placements at CGC Mohali are quite good with several reputed IT companies visiting the campus. Students get opportunities for internships and placements with decent packages for freshers. Overall the placement support is satisfactory. Campus is good.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Classrooms are well-equipped classrooms. There are computer labs, Wi-Fi, and decent learning environment. Hostel facilities are comfortable. There are basic amenities, security, and a student-friendly atmosphere. The campus is very good.

Faculty: The faculty is supportive and knowledgeable. Curriculum is well structured with a good mixture of theory and practical. Exams are conducted regularly and are manageable with consistent preparation. Campus is good for international students.

CGC University is best for everyone.

Placements: CGC has 99 percent placement assurance, and CGC has a tie-up with many national and multinational companies. CGC has an NAAC A+ grade, which shows us the quality, stability, and standard of education. Every year, students get a 6 LPA package. Our college also helps to improve their skills and confidence.

Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are very spacious and hostel food is also great. Our hostel provided us with healthy and delicious meals. Hostel restrooms are always clean in our college. Every block has its auditorium, library, and workshop labs. Quality of life is excellent in our college.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They teach us in practical as well as theoretical ways. Teachers tell us everything regarding our syllabus and much more. The quality of teaching is so excellent and genuine. Our mentor is so nice and humble to us.

Other: Overall, CGC University is an excellent experience.

CGC Mohali: Absolutely satisfied with the university.

Placements: I study BCA at CGC Mohali. 75-85 percent of our students got placed with packages between 2.5 LPA and 10 LPA, with an average of 4 LPA-5 LPA. The major recruiters of our college are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini and Accenture. 60-70 percent of students got their internships. Software Developer, Web Developer, QA Engineer, System Engineer, Technical Support, and a few others are roles that are commonly offered.

Infrastructure: There is good infrastructure for the tech and computer applications depth at CGC Mohali, with smart classes, full Wi-Fi on campus and the latest computer labs. The library is another strong point of this college, very serene, having enough books as well as e-resources through ERP. The hostels have good and safe accommodation, there is a mess, which is not very expensive and has snacks. There are grounds and a cricket court too, as well as proper medical care on campus. So overall, the campus is good.

Faculty: Their faculty is supportive, skilful, and knowledgeable. They teach concepts properly and help students in projects and practical work. The BCA programme covers topics like programming languages, database management, web development and others and provides education relevant to the present industry demands. You have to take other skills from other certifications or projects to get a better job, as the syllabus will make you ready for an interview with basic knowledge.

Pretty satisfied because of the study structure, bad placements in 2026, and good infrastructure.

Placements: For my particular course, the placement rate was very low. The lowest package offered in my course is around 1.8 LPA and the highest is 10 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies are Infosys and Deloitte. Around 5-10 percent of the students got on-campus internships, mostly in Infosys. Top roles offered in my course included full stack developer, AI dev ops engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is actually pretty good, and in fact it got better in the last 2 years and still is improving. There is free high-speed Wi-Fi in every building, classrooms are neat and open, and the library is air-conditioned and contains a good collection. I personally isn't in the hotel, so I'm not too aware of it other than that the canteen food isn't for me really, sports and games are held pretty decently each year.

Faculty: Most of the teachers in my time there are really supportive and good with their teaching skills. Some of them have prior work experience in the tech field, so they usually guide me pretty well. The curriculum until my last year was honestly below the average industry standards, but during the last year they massively changed the curriculum and study structure. The exams are actually really easy, at least to me. I can't speak for others, but it is definitely on the easier side. The pass percentage is 90 percent and the remaining 10 percent includes students who are never present or didn't care.

Other: I chose BCA because I was interested in languages and computers. The best thing is a different language each semester. I wish there was more emphasis on projects from the very first semester or more focus on physical building rather than just books. Talking about events and all, this is where the university is better than most. There is often an event that everyone enjoys.

Good university to take admission now.

Placements: Many seniors have received placement and internship opportunities through campus drives. Recruiters from companies like Capgemini and Deloitte have visited campus and there is even a new Capgemini on the campus floor. There are new placements and many new things.

Infrastructure: I would say that CGC is in its building state right now and growing day by day. When I entered college now there was a big difference. Now new labs are made for everything. Labs are improved and we even got a dedicated block for BCA. There are new facilities everywhere.

Faculty: The faculty is one of the best things in college and might be different for everybody. For me it is good too, around new professors some gave real experience and some practical knowledge. Exams are good if you study good you will easily pass the exam.

Other: At the time of starting I was interested in Computer Science and Legal Studies. I wanted to pursue something I wanted to do so I chose BCA. At my time there weren't options like AI and ML but those things have also been added.

Placements: Many technical and non-technical companies visit the college in every placement season. The average package ranges from 10-25 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, WNS Finance, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, and Kotak Odoo. Companies offer sales to management positions to students.

Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure with proper labs, libraries, and campus facilities. Hostel facilities are decent, safe, and comfortable for students. Free internet access is provided to all students. The library is separate for each department, like management, computer, law, and applied science.

Faculty: Our college has good faculty members. There are decent career opportunities and a fair examination system. Students who stay consistent in their studies and skill development can perform well here. There are more than 600 faculty members, and more than 80 percent are doctors and professionals. They focus on theory and practice equally.

Other: Many events are organised every year, like Saviskar, Sahityam, hackathons, Ideathons, expert lectures, etc. College now becomes CGC University. It is affiliated with NAAC and NBA.
