The CSE department has modern labs and facilities like Azure Machine Learning Studio, IBM Watson and Splunk ML Toolkit, etc. These tools help you get real experience and learn the skills companies want. Big companies like Microsoft, Wipro, Capgemini, Mindtree, IBM and Google, etc visit the campus for hiring. The placement packages are high, which is great for anyone looking to start a good career.  The CSE department also arranges workshops, expert talks, and seminars regularly. Both Chandigarh University and Thapar University are best in terms of placements but I can only tell you about Chandigarh University because I really don't know about Thapar. Talking about Chandigarh University, it is also very renowned for its placements, many top MNCs like Google, Deloitte, Accenture, Flipkart, etc. come to hire students for placements. Placements don't just happen overnight. CU makes sure students are trained from Day 1. The university has a special department called The Department of Career Planning and Development (DCPD) that works all the time to help students. They provide training, prepare students for interviews, connect them with top companies, and even help in building resumes, conducting mock interviews, and group discussions. CU makes sure students are fully ready before they step into the professional world.I personally also think that placements also depend upon student to student, skills and preparation matter a lot. The proximity to IT hubs ensures that CU students have access to opportunities for internships, training, and placement in top companies.Moreover, CU's campus is equipped with specialised labs for AI, ML, and Data Science, which provide students the chance to work on cutting-edge technologies. This is a key differentiator because Amity's offerings, though strong, don't seem as focused on these rapidly growing fields.Another significant point is the placement record at CU. It's all about solving problems in court. They teach you how to talk and sort things out peacefully. They even show how AI can help in solving fights.

I'm currently a student of UID Industrial Design at Chandigarh University, and honestly, it's been such a great experience for me. The course is designed in a way that helps us learn both creativity and technical skills. What I really like is that we don't just sit and study theory—we do a lot of hands-on work, projects, and practical tasks. The subjects are really interesting, and we get to choose what we want to focus on like Fashion Design, Accessory Designing, or even Lifestyle Designing.The labs and studios here are amazing. We have special spaces for garment making, textile printing, and pattern designing. It really feels like you're working in a professional setup. Plus, our teachers are super helpful—they come from top design schools and have a lot of real-world experience.We also get to go on field trips, do internships, and work on live projects. Big brands like H&M, Tommy Hilfiger, and Monte Carlo come for placements, which is a big plus. We even use cool design software like Photoshop, Illustrator, CLO 3D, and Tukatech. It's been a very creative and exciting journey for me so far. 

At Chandigarh University, getting exposure and education in the field of Forensic Science is furthered with bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs.
