Yes, Chandigarh University accepts MAT scores for MBA admissions. The university gives preference to students who have appeared for national-level entrance tests like MAT, CMAT, ATMA, or XAT. If your MAT percentile is 90% or above, you can get direct admission without any other test. Along with that, you'll also receive scholarship benefits—students scoring above 90% get a 25% semester fee scholarship, and those scoring between 85–89.99% get a 20% semester fee scholarship. But if your MAT score is below 85%, you will have to appear for the CUCET exam, which also opens doors for scholarships based on your CUCET performance. So, even if your MAT percentile is not very high, you still have an opportunity to secure admission and financial support by qualifying in CUCET. The system is very student-friendly and ensures everyone has a fair chance.

The minimum eligibility to pursue an MBA at Chandigarh University is 50% marks in graduation. However, since you belong to the SC category, you may get relaxation in the eligibility criteria as per university or government norms. Generally, universities do provide some flexibility to candidates from reserved categories, so it's advisable to contact the admission cell for clarity. Some specializations, especially industry-collaborated ones, require up to 60% marks, so it's better to confirm before applying. Even if your marks are slightly below 50%, the university may still consider your application based on category relaxation and your performance in entrance exams like CUCET or CAT. It's always recommended to apply and discuss your case with the university counselors—they can guide you on alternate options or pathways for admission as per your eligibility and category benefits.

If you have appeared in CAT and passed it, then yes, you can get admission at Chandigarh University, but it depends on your percentile. For instance, if your CAT score is above 75%, you can get direct admission without any other entrance exam. However, if your score is below that, you'll have to appear for the CUCET exam.
