When comparing CSE at Chitkara University Baddi and Lovely Professional University (LPU), both institutions offer good engineering programs, but LPU generally stands out due to its larger scale, infrastructure, and placement ecosystem. Chitkara Baddi provides a disciplined academic environment with smaller class sizes, which can offer more personalized attention. The campus is quieter and more compact, making it suitable for students who prefer a focused and less crowded atmosphere. However, the exposure to large tech companies and advanced labs is relatively limited due to its smaller size and fewer industry tie-ups compared to LPU. LPU, on the other hand, offers a far more expansive environment with state-of-the-art labs, modern CSE specializations such as AI, Cloud, Data Science, and Cyber Security, and a strong emphasis on practical learning. The university is known for its large tech fests, hackathons, and innovation-driven ecosystem. Its placement network is significantly broader, with many national and international companies visiting every year, increasing the chances of securing higher packages. Students benefit from collaborations, industry projects, global learning opportunities, and a vibrant campus life that promotes overall development. While Chitkara Baddi suits students looking for a calm, cost-effective, and structured academic setting, LPU is a better choice for those seeking maximum exposure, better infrastructure, diverse peer groups, and strong placement outcomes. If your priority is a well-rounded CSE experience with extensive industry connections and growth opportunities, LPU clearly provides a more robust platform.

All three are solid options with great campuses and placements, no doubt. But as a student who's researched a ton, I'd lean towards LPU—it's got that massive 600-acre vibe with NIRF rank 31 in 2025, killer infra like world-class labs and sports arenas, and super diverse crowd from everywhere.Chandigarh U rocks with strong research and international tie-ups, while Parul shines in Gujarat with affordable fees and practical focus. Still, LPU edges out for me with top placements (median 8 LPA for BTech), tons of scholarships, and courses in everything from engineering to Ayurveda. It depends on your course and budget, but LPU feels like the all-rounder for holistic growth without regrets

Seat availability for the LLM program at Chandigarh University depends on the current admission cycle and the number of students already enrolled. Usually, seats fill up fast because many students choose the university for further legal studies due to its supportive environment and quality teaching. The best way to know the exact seat status is to contact the admission helpline or check with the university's official admission team. They provide real-time information about seat availability. Even though CLAT is not required for LLM admission, you may need to appear for CUCET depending on the rules for the current academic year. If seats are available, you can apply directly by submitting the required documents like your LLB marksheets, ID proofs, certificates, and passport-size photographs. To be safe, it's better to apply early because postgraduate law seats are limited and usually in high demand.

Both BA LLB and BBA LLB are good programs at Chandigarh University, and the better choice depends on your interest. If you prefer subjects like political science, sociology, psychology, and general humanities, then BA LLB is a better option. It helps you understand society, governance, and human behavior, which is useful in legal studies. On the other hand, if you're interested in management, finance, business, and corporate sectors, then BBA LLB is a great choice. Both programs are approved by the Bar Council of India, include practical training, and follow the same law curriculum. Admission for both requires CUCET, and you need a minimum score of 30/100. You can also get scholarships from the university's ₹200 crore scholarship fund. So, the best course depends entirely on your career goal, whether you want to focus on humanities-related law or business-related law.

The B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) course at Chandigarh University does not have a traditional cutoff list like many government colleges. Instead, the university uses its own entrance exam, CUCET, to decide admission. To apply, you must have at least 60% marks in 10+2, but your actual selection depends on how well you perform in CUCET. Students who score higher in the test usually get an early advantage because seats fill quickly during the admission cycle. In the recent admission sessions, students who scored in the above-average range in CUCET comfortably secured a seat in the program. Since the university does not accept CLAT scores for admission, focusing on CUCET preparation is the best way to meet the effective cutoff and improve your chances of getting into the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) course.

The fee mentioned for the BBA + LLB program at Chandigarh University is per semester, not for the full course. Integrated law programs like BBA + LLB are five‑year courses that are divided into 10 semesters, and the fee is charged semester‑wise. This structure makes it easier for students to manage payments instead of paying a large amount at once. You will also need to pay standard charges like examination fees and CUCET‑based scholarships. Since the university offers ₹200 crore worth of scholarships, scoring well in CUCET can lower your financial burden. The admission process is simple, but CUCET is mandatory, and you need at least 30 out of 100 to qualify. This setup makes the course more accessible and manageable for students.

Hello! As far as I know, there is nothing like the latest cutoff information for B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) at Chandigarh University. A candidate must have 10+2 with atleast 60% marks in any stream conducted by a recognized Board / University / Council in the aggregate. One thing which I can tell you is this that for LLB, Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test is mandatory - the test is very simple and easy and it can also give you a chance to get multiple scholarships.  Â
