Many scholarships are open to students of Master of Computer Applications (MCA) at Chandigarh University. The CUCET is the main way: score well, and students have the chance to get upto 100% scholarship. After that come merit-based, PG early bird, sports policy, and support for defence wards. Weak section girls have a Kalpana Chawla scheme to apply under. There are others for Ladakh students and SC/ST folks in higher education.

From what I've seen as a student, CU's MBA is definitely recognised in India and outside. The degree carries weight because the university has earned accreditations like NAAC A+ and has been listed in QS World rankings and QS Asia University Rankings every year with great improvements and THE global rankings. A lot of my seniors even applied for jobs and further studies abroad, and their CU MBA degree was accepted without any issues. When it comes to value for money, I'd say it's worth it. The fee is much lower than IIMs or foreign universities, but placements are still strong with companies like Deloitte, Amazon, ICICI, Bandhan Bank, and TCS. You also get options for global exposure through exchange programs. So yes, the cost matches the kind of opportunities you get, making it a good return on investment.

For pursuing M.Sc. in Data Science at Chandigarh University, your undergraduate stream should have a direct link with quantitative or computational subjects. The eligibility list is broad—covering B.A., B.Sc., BCA, B.Com (Statistics), Commerce with Mathematics, or technical courses like B.E./B.Tech. The common factor among all these degrees is the inclusion of Math, Statistics, or Computer Science as a subject. CU expects at least 50% aggregate marks, which makes the programme accessible to a wide group of students from different streams. Even if you are from commerce, if you had mathematics or statistics in your degree, you qualify. This flexibility shows that CU designs the programme for diverse learners, provided they have analytical aptitude. Data Science is multidisciplinary, so whether you are from science, commerce, or engineering, you can step in if you meet this subject-based requirement.
