While no university can truly promise 100% placements, Chandigarh University comes very close with its strong placement support and industry connections. I've seen it firsthand—there are over 900+ top companies that visit the campus every year, including Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte, IBM, and Samsung. What makes CU stand out is the way it trains students for placements—right from the first year, there are personality development sessions, technical workshops, mock interviews, and resume-building help. Students from top branches like CSE, MBA, and even core engineering often get multiple offers. The university also offers special pre-placement bootcamps and internship opportunities that convert into job offers. Many students have bagged high packages—some even up to ?50 LPA and above. While 100% placements can't be guaranteed, if you're serious about your preparation, CU provides every possible platform and support to help you land a good job. That's what impressed me most.

Chandigarh University is an excellent choice for a BA LLB program. The department has two dedicated moot courts, a specialised library, and an auditorium for law-related activities. Another unique feature is the Pro Bono Club, funded by the Ministry of Law and Justice, which focuses on spreading legal awareness through workshops and sessions. CU also has the Madhyastha Centre, which trains students in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), a crucial skill for law professionals. The department has strong connections with top law firms like Kapil Sibal, J Sagar, and Amarchand Mangaldas. Students also get internship and placement opportunities in parliament, government offices, and human rights organizations.

Yes, quaifying NATA (National Apptitude Test in Architecture) is complusory to get a scholarship for B.Arch at Chandigarh University. To be eligible for admission to the B.Arch program, you must qualify either NATA or JEE (Main) Paper, as per the council of Architecture norms. However, when it comes to scholarships, Chandigarh University offers them speciffically based on your NATA score (or JEE Paper 2 percentile under a simiar bracket). So, if you are aiming for a merit-based scholarship, you'll need to appear for NATA or JEE Paper 2, and your score must fall within the prescribed ranges (e.g., 150+ in NATA = 40% scholarship on academic fees). In short:NATA or JEE Paper is mandatory for admission. For scholarship, NATA (or JEE PAper 2) performance is the key deciding factor.

I recently applied to Chandigarh University, so I can share what I learned about the admission process. The university has its own entrance test called CUCET, which is required for most courses. For engineering (like B.E.), you need to have passed 12th with Physics, Maths, and one other Science subject. For BBA, BCA, and B.Com, 12th pass in any stream with at least 50% marks is usually enough. If you're going for design or architecture, subjects like Maths or drawing might be required, plus you'll need a valid NATA score for B.Arch. For MBA or M.E., you need a graduation degree with minimum 50% marks and CUCET or other test scores. The best part is, if you do well in CUCET, you can also get scholarships. It's a simple process—register online, take the test, and based on your score, you'll get admission and maybe even fee benefits.

Yes, if you've scored above 150 in NATA, you'll get a 40% scholarship on the academic fee at Chandigarh University for the B.Arch program. I looked into this while applying, and it's a great benefit for students with good scores. The full academics fee for B.Arch is usually around Rs 1,30,000 per semester, so with a 40% scholarship, you'll only need to pay around Rs 78,000 per semester (approx.). This does not include hostel charges or other additional fees like exam or registration charges, which are separate.Just make sure to apply early because scholarships are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. You'll need to upload your NATA scorecard at the time of admission to claim the benefit. For me, this scholarship really helped bring down the cost while still getting quality education with good infrastructure and faculty support in the Architecture department.

Yes, B.E. students at Chandigarh University can apply for the CUET-UG scholarship, and it's actually a great option if you've already given CUET. When I was applying, I found out that CU offers scholarships based on CUET score too—not just through their own CUCET exam. If you've scored above the 90th percentile, you can get up to 50% off on your semester fees. Even if your score is between 80 and 89, you're still eligible for a 15-30% scholarship, which really helps with the overall fee. This is open to all undergraduate programs, including B.E., so engineering aspirants like me can definitely benefit from it. Just make sure you upload your CUET scorecard during admission. Also, to keep the scholarship for the next semester, you'll need to maintain a CGPA above 7.5 and follow the academic rules. Overall, it's a big help and worth taking advantage of.

Yes if you have appeared for CUET-PG and scored well, you can get a scholarship for the MBA programme at Chandigarh University. When I was applying, I found out that CU offers upto 50% scholarship on the semester fee for students scoring 90% and above in CUET-PG. The regular semester fee for MBA is around Rs. 1,05,000, so with a 50% scholarship, your fee would come down to approximately to Rs. 52,500 per semester. If your score is between 85–89.99%, you get a 30% waiver, and with 80-84.99%, it's 15% off. Even if your score is between 70–79.99%, you will still get a 10% scholarship, which helps. This is separate from any CUCET-based scholarship, and you need to submit your CUET-PG scorecard while applying. I found this option super helpful, especially since the MBA programme already offers good ROI through placements. This step of offering scholarships of Chandigarh University makes education more easily accessible for more and more students on the basis of their academic merits.
